Poor guy! Harry’s taking his break-up with Taylor rather hard, according to a new report! Read on for all the details.

For a couple that spend the final months of 2012 nearly joined at the hip, the recently reported split between Taylor Swift and Harry Styles has really taken us off guard. According to a new report by Life & Style magazine, we’re not the only ones struggling to accept the break-up. Harry is reportedly “really upset” about it!

“They are both really busy and never in one place for long. Harry’s really upset about the split and is really sensitive about it,” a source tells the magazine, confirming that Taylor, 23, and Harry, 18, have called it quits. “Loads of [Harry's] friends told him to be careful and that it was never going to last, and he feels a little foolish now that it’s fallen apart so quickly.”

Harry Styles & Taylor Swift’s Break-Up

The alleged break-up occurred while the couple was attempting to enjoy a New Year’s vacation on the British Virgin Islands. They flew out to the Virgin Gorda island after Taylor’s NYE performance in New York City, and were spotted by fans while enjoying a romantic dinner at CocoMaya, a restaurant on the island, on Jan. 3.

However, a solemn Taylor was spotted leaving the island by boat, alone, on Jan. 4 — the very next day! The Daily Mail reports that the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer flew back to her home in the States after she and her One Direction beau had a huge fight! “Yes I can confirm they have split up,” says the paper’s source. ”They were on holiday and had an almighty row.”

Haylor’s Relationship History

Taylor and Harry had reunited in mid-November, after an initial attempt in April of the same year. They were caught holding hands on the set of The X Factor, after Taylor performed on the show’s Nov. 15 results show. The couple spent December traveling the globe together, with Taylor visiting Harry’s native England to celebrate her birthday on Dec. 13 and the two double-dating with another now on-the-rocks couple in Utah the week before Christmas: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.
