The couple, who got engaged in February 2011, named their daughter Winter Victoria Parker, Us Weekly is reporting. The couple announced their upcoming arrival in September, and revealed to the magazine they were “very happy and really looking forward to what the new year will bring.”
Aside from welcoming their daughter early this year, the Napster founder and Facebook billionaire are planning to get married in 2013 as well.
Sean Parker’s Business Life Before Baby
Sean founded the music sharing site Napster in 1999 when he was just 19 years old, and went on to join Mark Zuckerberg in 2004 to become president of Facebook. After he left the social networking site, Sean started working with the Founders Fund, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm. He is now an investor for the music streaming service Spotify.
Sean was portrayed on the big screen in the David Fincher’s 2010 film The Social Network by Justin Timberlake. Although the movie received positive critical reception, and was even nominated for 8 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Direction.
When the real-life Sean Parker was asked how he thought Justin did in the film, he told Us Weekly, “It’s a great performance of a character that isn’t me.”
