The Cougartown star looks sexier than ever in New You magazine and reveals she would try anything in the way of anti-aging treatments to beat the clock–Get the details below!

Courteney Cox, 48, stars on the cover in windblown strands and smudgy eye makeup. The look is totally effortless and defies her age. In the magazine’s inaugural issue, the star talks all about beauty, the pressures of looking young in Hollywood and taking measures to  ward off wrinkles.

On feeling her most beautiful: “I feel the best after I’ve worked out, when I have no make-up on and my skin is flushed.”

On botox and trying other anti-aging treatments: “You know what, I’m game for anything.  I’m very open to trying to prolong the inevitable…I’m a big laser believer I really think they are the wave of the future. I just did Ulthera which is supposed to produce collagen.  And I’m about to do Fraxel, which will get rid of all these brown spots off my arms, chest and face.”

On the pressures of being beautiful in Hollywood: “There’s so many beautiful people and there’s so much pressure you put on yourself but David [Arquette] has always said to me, you’ve got to accept we’re all gonna age and just do it gracefully. And the sooner you accept, the easier your life is.”

Her beauty icons: “Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Meryl Streep and Sophia Loren. Sophia Loren is just so gorgeous and sexy and exotic. I wish I looked more like that but I don’t have an exotic bone in my body…[Helen Mirren] is so sexy. You know when people say you get better with age, that’s the perfect example. She’s just a bad ass in every way. She could rival the most gorgeous 30 year old.  She’s just so confident, and let’s face it, it’s always about confidence.”

Her favorite red carpet moment:”My favorite red carpet moment that I’ve ever had was when I was nominated for a Golden Globe. I was wearing a really tight and beautiful Victoria Beckham dress.  Genevieve did my makeup and Chris Mcmillan did my hair.  But it literally was one of those days where Chris goes okay, I’m going to Jen’s house, I’ll be back. He literally came and just put in two clips and that was it- gorgeous. I was also Tracy Anderson methoded out. I remember it was raining, and David was really sweet, he was holding an umbrella for me. That was a good time.”

You are right, Courtney! Ultherapy is a brand new technology. In fact, it almost seems likes science fiction. Although Ultherapy has been in use in Asia for several year, the FDA only approved it in the United States in 2009. Using ultrasound (hence the UL in Ultherapy), I can actually see the structures of the dermis beneath the skin, much as the baby can be seen in the mother’s belly with an ultrasound. This allows the surgeon to target the precise area where collagen growth needs to occur to fill out areas of the face that have lost volume. The sound waves heat up the skin and encourage these deeper structures to grow more collagen and that results in a more youthful look that tightens the skin. This defines the facial structures, the brows, mid-face, cheeks and under the chin. Like many of these cutting edge technologies, Ultherapy is a process that takes a few months to produce optimal rejuvenation.
