‘Breaking Dawn: Part 1′ Extended Edition DVD Release Date Announced

Breaking Dawn: Part 1 was one of the most romantic movies of 2011, featuring Edward and Bella’s wedding and their honeymoon and now a new extended DVD promises eight minutes of never-before-seen footage! Yay! More Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart!

The Twilight Saga — Breaking Dawn: Part 1 Extended Edition will be available for purchase on Blu-ray, DVD and by digital download on March 2, 2013.

It will feature eight minutes of deleted scenes from the film chosen by Direction Bill Condon. You can also listen to his audio commentary if you wish!

“As Twilight series devotees know, there was a lot of ground to cover in adapting Breaking Dawn to the screen,” Condon said in a press release. “Between the wedding, the honeymoon, the birth, and everything in between, naturally there were things that didn’t make it into our final cut. But I wanted to make sure that for all the Twihards out there, there was a chance to see some of these cut scenes – several of which are fan favorites from the book.”

The new release will also include the original theatrical version.

Kristen recently spoke out about the series, commenting that she will never be able to escape the fascination with the movies:

“I doubt people will stop asking us about Twilight. And hopefully not. Hopefully this is something we are able to hold onto forever. I don’t think anyone who has been invested in this since day one will suddenly disappear from my life. It’s a large group but I do feel we are forever bonded we share something that is a once in a lifetime thing.”

Marriage confirmed of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart ] This is the name this video There are more on the page look at all, When Robert was saying he and Kristen are married he was telling the truth. You have to look at all the videos there is more that they are telling you And that is why Kristen wore the ring Robert had give her in the movie on her left hand , They have been married over a year.

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if you are correct about this, Joyce… But it doesn’t matter if they are married or not, and it never did matter. But IF they ARE married by now and managed to keep it quiet all this time, I KNOW many of you out there will find that offensive. But, honestly – NONE of you fans deserve so much as a sliver of a peek into their real lives JUST because so many of you treat them AND have allow them to be treated like SH*T from DAY ONE of this sparky adventure. THEN WHY THE HECK I EVEN SPEND 30 BUCKS on the collection edition one or whatever it’s called. (The one with the fake wedding flower in them) with the hard cover and stuff.. When i got it I was like yeah I’m can see the deleted scenes.. If i know they’re coming out with this one.. GRR. what a waste of money!

Couldnt they have put this deleted scenes and the 8 minute scene on the BD1 dvd when it came out.Im excited to see these deleted scenes but i just think that summit wants more money i mean twilight is over and done we will never forget this movies it was an amazing story but is time to move on.

@KM I think they said its coming out sometime in April I apologise for saying you were rude and @ sisi south africa I agree with you about summit, and they are confusing us they will have two or three dvds of BD1, but different extras on each one so that we dont know which one to buy and end up buying all of them . I cant believe they are still trying to make money on this after all the millions Rob and Kris made them.

I dont think so @domino I dont think so. I cant keep buying the same twilight dvds I am waiting for the BD2 now.I think its a shame that summit has to keep doing this to twilight fans they could have added all the extras on the first dvd release for BD1.Its a shame really.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.I will not re-buy something I already have just to get a couple of extra minutes of footage.Movie makers are like the goblins in Harry Potter.They make it , you buy it but still don’t own it. You pay money to buy the movies you love but can’t share it with anybody else even though you’re not making any money off it.They even want you to pay to show the movie you already bought at a charity movie night.So greedy.

@Sisi – I agree that the timing for a BD1 + extras is odd. I am betting that they will put out a BD1/BD2 combo pack on the same date and that this is Summit’s idea of how to sell this.

@sisi south africa so you and I have the same dvd and @ KM the only thin missing on ours is the Uk premier but all the other stuff you counted falls under the 6 part doccumentary sisi mentioned.I dont know if you were being rude but if you were @ KM then shame on you ,but if you were not being rude then I apologise.Sisi it looks like we are not missing a lot form our dvd compared to the blue ray.Are you buying the extended version?

KM, I can’t wait to buy mine!! I’m in the UK, I also have extended scenes ect but Bill Condon wants to give something special back to us Twi hard fans :D I Heard Rob Kristen & Taylor talking about these scene’s, Edward beats Jacob up n OMG!! honeymoon breakfast scene is ace, how they describe it is anyway!! :D Sooooooooooooo can’t wait!! :D

@km I have the BD1 2 disc special dvd it has no deleted orextended scenes it has the personal wedding video, and the 6 part documentaries ,music videos ,commentary and jacobs destiny. I know there is a lot more missing on my dvd what else is on the blue ray dvd?

What’s gonna be the difference? I mean, I’ve got Breaking Dawn Part 1 on Blu-Ray, and I adore the film, it’s got extended scenes, deleted scenes, commentary, their personal wedding video, favourite bits and just SO much more! So yeah, what’s gonna be the difference? When is Part 2 on DVD too? I SO want the Blu-Ray DVD release!!!
I HAVE to ask this..ARE THEY BACK TOGETHER?! Can I just say too, even thought she cheated on him..he obviously loves her and it’s his choice, so all the best to both of them :)

Also most commentary are usually done by the directors sometimes together with the actors .
