Kim certainly has her hands full. Not only is she expecting her first child with Kanye West, but Kris is bragging to friends that he’s prolonging their divorce in an effort to hurt her, according to a new report!
Since Kanye West announced that Kim Kardashian is pregnant with his baby, estranged husband Kris Humphries has reportedly been telling his friends that he’s “got all the power” now.
“He brags to everyone that he has that power. He’s said it a million times,” a source close to Kris tells New York Daily News.

“They can’t go to court until his basketball season is over, so he tells people that he is in control of her misery. When he found out about the baby, he was bragging to all of his friends that he wasn’t going to ‘allow’ her to be divorced when she had the baby. He intends to tell his attorney when they set a trial date next month that he can’t do it until late summer. It’s all planned and calculated,” the source adds.

While Kim is not surprised by Kris’ antics at this point, she is shocked that he would try to get custody of her unborn baby girl. Kris will legally be “presumed” to be the father of Kim’s baby, as long as he is still married to her when the baby is born.
A source close to Kim tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Kim was shocked when she found out that Kris could technically try to get custody. It sounds totally crazy! Why would he do that when it’s only going to make him look bad. But Kim wouldn’t put anything past Kris, all he cares about is hurting her, so of course she’s worried that he’ll do something to ruin the best moment of her life.”
Our insider adds, “It’s upsetting for her, but she’s still not going to give in. Kim’s a fighter and even though a lot of people think that Kim took advantage of Kris it was the other way around. She did love him and she gave him a hundred percent so there’s no way she’s going to turn around and say it was a fraud – that would be lying to the court.”

You are right, he would be crazy to go around saying this, as it would be making a mockery of the judicial system. No Judge would tolerate or accept that. There is nothing that upsets a judge more than to feel that they are being played.

The Judge has the power of this case, not Kris. If the judge feels this case is dragging too long,
he can move the case quickly, out of his court room. Besides, since when has the playoffs stopped
a case from proceeding? Especially a case instigated by someone who now reportedly wants to stall the case. If Kobe, who is a star starter, could play everyday after been present at court, years ago, why cant Kris, who has been benched? He is the one who wants the trial right?

Give Kris H. the annulment. She planned this baby. Kim only has herself to blame. She should have waited until this mess was settled first. I honestly think she did this on purpose to force his hand by feeling sorry for her. I do not believe Kris H. has said this. This story has Kris Jenner fingerprints all over it. Please? you know what set us back 100 years women that hate on other women, and women that are out here having 2 and 3 kids by 2 and 3 different men, that’s what set us back a 100 years. Kim standing up for herself and not allowing herself to be bullied by this big Kid does not set anyting back. I applaud her, if she entered this marriage thinking she was in love with him, then there was no fraud. Remember Kim got angry at her family for asking her to call off the wedding because he was not right for her, she pretty much told them to mind their business. They both made a horrible mistake, at least she took responsibility and admitted to her part in it ut he refuses too, no one forced him to propose or get married, no one forced him to sign the papers to have the marriage aired and for him to be on show, he did that willingly. It is both their faults that they did not sit down and have a conversation about where they would live, where they would raise kids etc. that is BOTH of their faults, not to mention Kris knew that Kim was a reality star, that is her livelyhood he knew that, but after marriage he decided to start belitteling her, that was not cool. Kim did the right thing by getting out and I give her kudos for that. I’m all for an annulment as long as they both admit that the marriage was a mistake and move on. There was no fraud, if there was fraud then they both need to admit fraud.

And neither do any of you, most of what she said can be verified if people stopped listening to the tabloids and pay attention to the timelines, the negative people tend to take in the negative information and positive people seem to take in the same information on a positive level. I agree with everything that she said. None of us know for sure but if you are alogical thinking person and you remove the shade of envy and hatred from the picture I would have to side with what Melanie said. Almost everything about Kim K. is a fraud…the plastic surgeries have changed her looks a lot; the sex tape led “stardom” & a millions; all the many boyfiends, marriages have ended with the guy at fault. This Kris Humphrues got taken to the cleaners. I don’ t see any headlines about him getting any money from Kim K. Actully, Kris has overplayed his hand and this whole thing is going to come crashing down on him and here is why, Kim being pregnant actually works in her favor, Kim’s attorney will go into court in February and let them request the June date and right after that she will file for a bifurcation, which the court WILL approve, it will return both of them back to single status and allow Kim to marry if she likes prior to the birth of her child and then they will hah out the other stuff later, so that will take all of the wind out of his sale because the bigges thing that he has over her now is her freedom, so he is playing right into their hands. There is not a JUDGE in the US or CA for the matter that will deny a request for bifurcation, just ask Kelsey Grammar. In this case, bifurcation is not so simple. The judge will have to rule on Kris’ request for annulment before any bifurcated divorce would be granted… so a hearing will ensue to make a determination of whether the annulment based on fraud has any validity. Any trial/transcript will be made public. It’s my understanding that Kim has been the one stalling on her deposition for the annulment determination so unless she is ready to go on record regarding that issue, no bifurcated divorce will be granted.

The Bifurcation is STRICTLY about status change, it has nothing to do with whether or not is is deemed a divorce or Annulment that will be hashed out with the fraud case. The reason for the delay is the ruling and because that is the hold up he will order the bifurcation and then handle the fraud matter at a later date. There is no judge that will deny her request to move on and get married prior to the birth of her child. The bifurcation will be granted it is not a bifurcated divorce it is a bifurcation of status. It’s all in the California code, it was used by Grammar, it was used by Les Munves and several others. I am very much aware of this process since I work for a CA Family Law firm and we see it more often than you may think, especially if the judge feels that the other party is playing games. Add a pregnancy and it’s a wash.

I love the way people are trying to make Kris Humphries sound like the bad guy. Even if he did say all those things, it is what it is. Kim wanted to get pregnant before the divorce was finalized, so that is exactly what she got. She and Kanye have been dating since April 2012 and she’s three months pregnant already. Does she really think a child is going to be easier? She married Humphries within six months of dating and you see where that got her. Regardless of the fact that she knew Kanye previously, having a child with that person is completely different. Technically, it’s her that’s dragging the divorce on longer. Kris just wanted an annulment. He didn’t want the divorce, but she pushed it. She should’ve tried to work things out with her husband. I’ll pray for that child.

Even if he were to agree to the divorce, it will not be finalized for another 6 months! It has nothing to do with his power, but the court process. Now the judge could turn their status back to single, before the trial, and the rest can follow. Kim has an advantage because of her pregnancy. This could actually work in her favor in the bifurcation of marital status. I have to question any man and his self esteem, who still wants to be tied to a woman, who is definitely no longer in love with him, and is in love with another man and carrying the man’s child.
