Justin’s reps have declined to comment on the new photos showing the singer holding a very suspicious-looking lit cigarette, but now HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVE info from an insider close to the situation!
Justin Bieber, 18, was photographed holding what appears to be marijuana as he partied with a few friends in a hotel room in Newport Beach, California on Jan. 2. The release of the photos, on Jan. 4, comes three days after a paparazzo, who made a call to his freelancing photo agency and claimed the Biebs was smoking pot while driving, was killed while trying to photograph Justin.
While Justin’s reps declined to comment, an insider shed light on the situation.
An insider tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “He’s 18, about to be a 19-year-old kid and he’s been a pretty good kid. It’s not like he’s a kid who’s been a problem — he’s generally handled himself pretty well and he’s fine, he’ll get through this.”
“Listen, he’s been through a lot in the past year including Mariah Yeater trying to make hay off his back. He grew up without a dad, so considering all that… he’s generally been a good kid.”

He is at an age where he will experiment with weed and/or alcohol. Most teenagers do, only most aren’t followed around 24/7. It’s also normal to go a bit crazy when you break up with your girlfriend, Selena is probably eating ice cream out of the tub, crying on her girlfriends’ shoulders. They fought and bickered way too much for it to be real love – so get over it in a awhile and find someone you can really love- they are ot there, just take your time. I absolutely don’t think less of Justin for doing something almost everyone his age does – people shouldn’t be so judge-y. I don’t particularly like JB or his music, but I definitely do not wish him to fail, either. And, btw, Justin is responsible for his own actions, not Lil Twist, etc. Justin should just concentrate on his job, date different girls, and HAVE SOME FUN with all the money and priviledge he has been blessed with. And, please Selena, don’t start posting pics of yourself with cute guys. costars, other acquaintances, hugging,etc. to try and make Justin jealous. That’s so High School.

It really is disappointing because it looks like he’s walking in the dark side. He needs to start hanging out with new ppl who will lead him in the right direction!! Smoking weed is really not good start for 2013!! Selena is heading on a bright side whereas Justin is heading in the dark side!! How sad is that!! Not everybody has to smoke weeds and party out to forget about their ex girlfriend/boyfriend!! Better watch where u’re going…!!

I don’t think the picture’s are fake. I also beleive Little Twist is introducing Justin into the dark side. First Vodca now pot, what’s next….However it’s up to Justin no one is twisting his arm. I know Justin is considered an adult now and has a right to privacy, however perhaps he should think about who he has been hanging around with lately. Everyone seems to have that one friend where trouble seems to follow them around. Hope he does get through this .

Let JB do what he wants in his private life. He is an adult. He is going through some growing pains, just like all of us. If he did just break up with his girlfriend, he’s going to be hurting for a bit, just like all of us. But he has made the right decision to break it off. Just go and have fun, work, travel, meet new people, date others, you know, just like all of us. He’ll be fine. As Churchhill said – if you’re going through Hell, keep going.

Oh Jesus. What 18 year old guy DOESN’T smoke pot? I realize this is a big deal because of marketing and the parents of Beliebers can’t be too happy but really pot is not going to make him become the next Lohan or whatever. And this coming from someone who doesn’t like JB.
