A proud father snapped a candid photograph of the first moments of his newborn baby girl’s life when she reached out and grabbed hold of her doctor’s finger! How breath-taking!
As Alicia Atkins of Glendale, Ariz. was giving birth to her daughter Neveah on Oct. 9, 2012 via C-section, her husband Randy managed to take a stunning picture of his daughter as she wrapped her tiny hand around Dr. Allan Sawyer‘s finger.
In the first viral photo of 2013, Randy described how when his daughter was entering the world, he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
“The doctor called me over and said, ‘hey, she’s grabbing my finger,’” the proud dad told Arizona’s 3TV News. “So I ran over there and just grabbed the shot and I was just in awe looking at it. It was such an amazing picture.”
Revealing The Incredible Photograph Of Neveah On Facebook
Even though Randy snapped the pic, his wife Alicia is the professional photographer in their family — and owns the photography studio A Classic Pin-Up. She shared the stunning pic on her company’s Facebook page.
“This was 10 weeks ago when I was having my c-section and Dr. Sawyer broke my water and daughter reached up out of my stomach and grabbed the Dr.’s finger and my hubby caught this special moment,” she wrote on Facebook. “Truly amazing. I am in awe of this photo. Something to remember forever.”
She then posted a sweet message to Dr. Sawyer. “Thank you for helping me deliver 3 of the most amazing wonderful gifts I could ever ask for. A Couple of miracle children. You are truly an amazing Dr. and couldn’t ask for a better one.”
How incredible! We’re so glad Randy was there to take the amazing photo. What do YOU think of the pic HollyMoms?
