The ‘Teen Mom’ stars, split in 2009 after a brief engagement, are taking their reconciled relationship ’slow,’ according to a new report. Do YOU think they should be together?
Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards have been effectively co-parenting their son Bentley, 4, since their split in 2009. But a new report reveals that the Teen Mom stars are back together!
Ryan shocked fans everywhere on Dec. 20 when he flirted up a storm with his baby mama via Twitter. Ryan tweeted “marry me! “and “i want to get on one knee an tell you how much i love you,” while Maci replied “outta ur mind haha.”
But it looks like the romantic social media exchange made it’s way into real life — and Ryan didn’t hold anything back.
“He told Maci he still had feelings for her,” a source told Us Weekly. But the insider revealed that the Twitter proposal was just a joke — even if his feelings behind it were sincere.
Ryan and Maci Get Back Together After Splitting With Their Exes
For the first time in years, the Teen Mom stars found themselves both single at the same time. Ryan split with on-again, off-again girlfriend Dalis Connell for good in early December, and Maci and her long-term boyfriend Kyle King have been broken up since September.
But the lovebirds are playing it safe, and making sure their hearts are in check this time around.
“They’re taking it slow,” the source revealed to Us.

They should be together because there meant to be and they both love each other a lot. And Bentley deserves both his moma and daddy together in a big happy family. I hope that it works between them.
