The holidays are meant to be a time for people to come together and set aside their differences and come together, but often the stress of the occasion can lead to new arguments. Just ask Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart! According to a new report in Life & Style magazine, the couple spent the Christmas holiday apart because of a gigantic fight!
According to the magazine’s sources, Rob, 26, “happily” left Kristen, 22, in Los Angeles as he traveled to England to celebrate with his family. “Kristen was all set to go to London with Rob for Christmas, but they got into a huge fight and he told her that she should stay in L.A.,” a friend reveals.
It turns out that Kristen wanted to bring along an uninvited guest, setting Rob off. “At the last minute, Kristen wanted her mom to go, too, but this trip was meant to be about Kristen spending more time with the Pattinsons,” the source says. “Bringing her mom was not the plan, and Rob was annoyed.”
Rob’s Sisters Continue To Diss Kristen
As previously reported, Rob’s sisters Lizzy and Victoria viewed Kristen’s absence as the perfect opportunity to try to convince their brother, yet again, to dump his Twilight sweetheart. As OK! magazine reports, “Lizzy and Vic tried to talk Rob into ditching Kristen for good. They feel he looks like a chump for taking her back so quickly.”
His sisters believe that he can have any woman in the world, the magazine says. “They love to tell him when certain models become single — like when Leo DiCaprio broke up with Erin Heatherton — but he doesn’t care.”
As Rob and Kristen were celebrated New Year’s Eve together in London, it’s clear that his sisters didn’t get their wish. His devotion to Kristen is too strong. “Rob has told his family to back off. If they keep making things difficult, Kristen just may get her wish — and Rob could push them away,” OK!‘s source says.
