So sad. Chelsea was spotted leaving the hospital after visiting her mom on Monday Dec. 31, and she looked visibly upset.
Chelsea Clinton left New York Presbyterian Hospital on Monday Dec, 31, where she visited her mom Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is being treated for a blood clot. Sadly, Chelsea looked extremely distraught.
Hillary has been in the hospital since Sunday Dec. 30 when doctors discovered the blood clot during an MRI.
Doctors say The Secretary Of State is now on blood thinners, but she’s expected to make a “full recovery,” according to TMZ. Doctors also confirmed the clot did not cause a stroke or brain damage, as some reports have suggested.
Hillary was first admitted to the hospital after a blood clot was found during a follow-up exam related to a concussion she suffered earlier this month.
“Her doctors will continue to assess her condition, including other issues associated with her concussion,” Clinton’s spokesman Philippe Reines said on Sunday Dec. 30. “They will determine if any further action is required.”
Hillary, 65, was suffering from a stomach virus earlier this month when she fainted due to dehydration, which caused the concussion.
We hope Hillary has a speedy recovery. Our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.
