So wrong! Russian president Vladimir Putin plans to retaliate against America by preventing Russian children from being adopted by Americans — even those who are already going through the adoption process! Do YOU think that’s OK?
On Dec. 27, Russian president Vladimir Putin said he would sign a bill that would not allow Russian children to be adopted by Americans. The day before, Russian Parliament’s Upper House voted unanimously in favor of the bill.
The controversial measure is seen as a retaliation against an American law that calls for sanctions against Russians who are considered human rights violators. It is also viewed as yet another hostile action against the West by Vladimir Putin.
The bill will also affect Russian children who are already in the process of being adopted by Americans — dozens of kids who are close to being adopted will be banned from leaving the country.
Children Stuck In Oppressive Orphanages
Even though many of the children adopted are stuck in dismal orphanages, the bill will block the main international source of adoption. Over the past 20 years, tens of thousands of Russian children have been adopted by American families.
According to UNICEF, there are approximately 740,000 kids in Russia without parental care.
International Backlash Over The Ban
Activists and officials from both Russia and America are outraged by the bill, and believe it deprives needy children from the care and support they deserve.
The U.S. State Department in particular spoke out against Russia’s decision.
“Since 1992, American families have welcomed more than 60,000 Russian children into their homes, providing them with an opportunity to grow up in a family environment,” spokesman Patrick Ventrell said in a statement on Dec. 26. “The bill passed by Russia’s parliament would prevent many children from enjoying this opportunity…It is misguided to link the fate of children to unrelated political considerations.”

Another thing I’ve noticed is for many people, poor credit is the result of circumstances above their control. One example is they may be really saddled with an illness so that they have large bills for collections. It may be due to a job loss or the inability to do the job. Sometimes divorce proceedings can send the funds in an opposite direction. Many thanks for sharing your notions on this web site.
