A holiday wish from all of us at HollywoodLife to all of you!

We hope you’ve been having a wonderful day with your loved ones. Thanks for being our HollywoodLife readers this year. A big thanks to you and some stars who’ve gone above and beyond  today. Christmas is a time for saying thanks for the good things in our lives and for giving to others. At HollywoodLife, we want to give thanks to you — our millions of  readers who come to our site daily to read our new news and see our fashion, beauty and HollyBaby posts and to share your comments and votes.

We love reading your feedback, which inspires us all to work hard and do an even better job. As the Editor-in-Chief of HollywoodLife, I also want to say thank you to the hardworking team at HL, who are such a pleasure to work with, as well as the team at Penske Media — our parent company — which supports us!

Rihanna Gives Back Bigtime

Now, let’s give some applause to Rihanna who just donated $1.75 million dollars in memory of her beloved “Gran Gran Dolly” to the radiotherapy department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Talk about turning her own hard work into something which can so substantially save lives. Rihanna’s  grandmother Clara sadly died of cancer last June, 2012, and Rihanna clearly decided to channel her grief in the most positive way possible by establishing the Clara Braithwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear medicine, in memory of her dear grandmother.

This way, other victims of cancer will get the best possible treatment in her native Barbados. Thank you, Rihanna!

Demi Lovato’s Newtown Message of Love

Then there’s Demi Lovato who released a beautiful rendition of the song “Angels Among Us” in video, to support the families who lost 20 beautiful, young innocent angels in a massacre at their Sandy Hook school, as well as six of their bravest and finest educators. Watch the video below and go to to help support the memories of those victims.

Thank you HollywoodLifers and to so many stars who use their celebrity to do good! Merry Christmas!
