‘Twilight’ Dissed: Voted Worst Movie Ever — So Wrong

Oh no! ‘Twilight’ has been voted the worst movie of all time, according to a poll by RiffTrax with over 500,000 votes. But as one of the most popular franchises of all time, we can’t imagine everyone agrees with this title! Do YOU?

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson became household names when they played Bella and Edward in The Twilight Saga — but not everyone has warm and fuzzy feelings about the immortal love story. A new fan poll has voted Twilight the worst movie of all time! We totally disagree! What do you think, HollywoodLifers?

Twilight nabbed the “top” spot. Other movies in the top ten are Spider-Man 3, Catwoman, Jack and Jill, and Battlefield Earth.

Twi-hards probably don’t really care about this “honor” — the franchise has grossed over $1.3 billion dollars worldwide. Billion!

The movie also introduced us to one of our favorite real-life couples — Kristen and Rob! Even after her summer 2012 cheating scandal, the couple is back together and better than ever.

Kristen admitted in a recent interview that she doesn’t think the fascination with Twilight will ever end!

“I doubt people will stop asking us about Twilight. And hopefully not. Hopefully this is something we are able to hold onto forever. I don’t think anyone who has been invested in this since day one will suddenly disappear from my life. It’s a large group but I do feel we are forever bonded we share something that is a once in a lifetime thing.”

These books were not meant to be anything but a story. If you require “adult literature” then you should take ENG Literature and leave romantic fantasy to those who dare to dream and imagine!

Twilight has been PROVEN to be a BADLY-WRITTEN and HARMFUL book several times over!! LOOK at this stuff!! NO ONE is jealous of this woman OR this book’s popularity – concerned that it has been EXCUSED like this by GROWN WOMEN and worried about YOUNG over-obsessed Twihards being constantly BASHED in their HEARTS over it by these gossip rags, YEAH!
But jealous of Stephenie Meyer’s sexual fantasy that she left GLARING throughout her unresearched, BLOODLESS Vampires within The Twilight Saga, ha! This book would NEVER have made as much money as it has IF she hadn’t gotten us all ACCIDENTALLY addicted to it, BEFORE she published Breaking Dawn – this is the ONLY REASON the last book/movie has been excused!!

I love the Twilight Saga but the thing people have to remember/know is that the first film was buget ($) and set as an Indy (independent) film.

It became as big as it is because all the fans of the books that suported the first film and “pimped” it out.

“Pathetic teenagers?” You must be a single male without children!! The idea that Stephanie Meyer wrote 4 books that reignited the love of reading romance novels and got children back to the love of reading and then collaborated to turn the series into an epic film series was NO small feat! The actors/ing may not have been spot on BUT then again people werent in love with the actors they were in love with the story and the characters. The genre is “Fantasy Romance” and Stephanie Meyer wrote from her dreams and for a specific generation. She didnt know the overwhelming response she would get and she didnt plan on a movie, let alone 5 (1 per year) but im not sure if it was wise to split the last book into 2 films, but its in the end about $$. It wasnt made to be film of the year, nor costume of the year, nor acting for the year……..it was meant to entertain! And that it did…….to the tune of how many millions? Kristen looks so fresh, sweet, innocent, carefree and pretty on this photo for Twilight. I hope her life becomes more quiet, peaceful and relaxed next year because she is looking stressed out, sad and tense. Maybe less work, more family and friends and less focus on being in a relationship is what she needs for next year.

they can vote as much and all they want. Mean while Summit Production is laughing aalllll the waayyyy to the baankkkk. The voters were not the gender and age group Summit was going for. Summit and Twilight acompolished their goal. They did exactly what they set out to do and made even more money than they anticipated. So screw RiffTrax. they are all idiots there anyway and they have their own idiotic views. Twilight was basically non violent and made for younger audiences. RiffTrax supports a lot of violent movies and games.

You are right, MVK. These polls are a lot of garbage. It makes sense to poll the section of people who go to this type of movie. If teenagers and women young and old usually go to this type of thing then they are the ones who should be polled. As they went in huge numbers, it would seem as though Twilight Saga was a great success. It is the only time I have been to the movies and seen the theater full. They must be doing somethin g right. It is harmless entertainment, is it not? No gratuitous violence and trash talk, so Moms were O.K. with their kids seeing it.
