Following ‘The X Factor’ finale on Dec. 20, Simon spoke to HollywoodLife.com and said that even though Emblem3 didn’t win, they will still be signed. Will Simon be the one to sign them?
On Dec. 20, Tate Stevens reigned victorious as he became the winner of the second season of The X Factor. The country crooner may be taking home the top prize of the recording contract, but he’s not the only one who is going to get a record deal! Top judge Simon Cowell revealed to HollywoodLife.com that he believes a certain group will be just fine, admitting that cute boy band Emblem3 will get a recording contract – and potentially with Simon’s record label!
SIMON’S PLANS FOR EMBLEM3
As previously reported by HollywoodLife.com, Simon admitted that he had plans for Emblem3, after they were shockingly eliminated from the competition on Dec. 13. Simon said he believed they would be signed. “I think there’s a pretty good chance. I’m not going to let anyone else get them. There will be some pretty big announcements at the end of the show.”
At the Dec. 20 final, Simon all but confirmed that he will be the one to sign them! When asked if they would get a record deal, he said, “If we don’t sign them, someone else will,” and then he said to “watch this space.” How exciting!
Simon also spoke about how much he will miss fellow judge L.A. Reid, who has quit the show, but he pointed out that they will still work together at Sony. Simon further fueled rumors that Sony will be the ones to offer Emblem3 a recording contract when he said that L.A. has “other artists signing with him very soon.”
Don’t tease us, Simon! We want an Emblem3 album soon!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Simon and L.A. sign Emblem3?

Whoever signs them HAS TO let them do their own original songs! They may have gone farther in the competition if Simon let them do their thing. My personal fave original song of theirs is My Calling. I can listen to it again and again and never tire of it. It’s got good, deep lyrics and puts me in a tranquil, blissful mood. I hope it makes it onto their album! Give it a listen!

Duh?! Emblem3 is NOT a boyband!!!!!! Again, if you have watched their first audition, they are NOT considering themselves as a BOYBAND. Okay, people? You’re probably comparing them to One Direction, but, nah, they are waaaayyyyyyy farrrrrrrr different than that British-Irish BOYBAND.

Emblem3 is what the media needs. They aren’t obsessed with girls and being perfect boyfriends to dream girls. And they are so unique and talented. They such happy people that are kicking the butts of everything life throws at them and that kind of strength is what everybody needs.
