Katie Holmes may be moving past her divorce from Tom Cruise and ready to date again, as she was caught flirting with a man who apparently walked her into her apartment building before the two hung in the lobby and engaged in a long conversation before saying goodnight on Dec. 15!
“They were saying a long, long goodnight, talking and looking pretty romantic in the lobby around 2 a.m,” an eyewitness told the New York Daily News. “He looked like a finance type, was wearing classic Cole Haan shoes and a navy pea coat. He walked her to the elevator and then she said ‘good night’ and smiled.
The source adds that Katie, who was dressed in a white Burberry trench with jeans and flats, looked “gorgeous” and while leaning against a wall, she was “twirling her hair with one leg up. She was very pretty and very flirty!”
While we’ve reached out to Katie’s rep and are waiting for them to get back to us with a comment, the NYDN says Katie’s team denies she’s seeing a new man and that the man in question is her gay best friend.
As HollywoodLife.com reported earlier, Katie, who just turned 34 on December 18, spent her birthday with her adorable daughter Suri Cruise.
A source revealed to Us Weekly Katie and Suri stopped by Sugar and Plumm, a bistro and bakery on New York City’s Upper West Side, and enjoyed a cute breakfast together. They dined on silver dollar pancakes and eggs benedict prepared by chef Ben Dodaro.
