Fifth Harmony Should Win ‘The X Factor’ — But They Won’t

After tremendous performances from both Tate Stevens and Fifth Harmony, I now know who will win ‘The X Factor’ on Dec. 20 — and  more importantly, who SHOULD win. Only hours away from a winner, who will be taking home the five million dollar recording contract?

After spending weeks backstage interviewing the contestants and watching each and every performance, I have selected who WILL win The X Factor — which is drastically different from who SHOULD win! Based off of last night’s final performances, I believe I have a fool proof answer on how things will go down tonight during the finale. You may be surprised, but I think I’m right on the button!

Lets get one thing out of the way — Carly Rose Sonenclar will NOT be winning this show. She peaked way too early, and her performance with Leann Rimes during last night’s episode was a complete train wreck. Now that we have that cleared up, let’s get to the potential winners.

Fifth Harmony delivered incredible performances, both with Demi Lovato on “Give Your Heart A Break” and their turn on Ellie Goulding‘s “Anything Could Happen” — though I thought they slipped a little with the Beatles classic, “Let It Be”. The song ended on a high note, but it took way too much time to get there. Also, considering Tate Stevens has been on the top of the leader board all season and he has never had a bad performance, he will take the victory tonight.

But the thing is — Fifth Harmony needs the win. Tate has a long and amazing career ahead of him. Fifth Harmony might need the extra bump that $5 million dollars and a Pepsi commercial could provide for one’s career! Do I think Fifth Harmony could shock the world tonight and win? The answer is a simple yes. But I have watched plenty of these shows in the audience to know how the world works.

Sure, we might be in for a surprise — a girl finally won The Voice the other night, so voting trends may have changed. But lets be honest, Tate is winning The X Factor tonight!

So HollywoodLifers, who do you think will win The X Factor? Sound off below!

I haven’t yet watched tonight’s finale, but agree with you that Fifth Harmony should win. They have it all, energy, fun and talent. They’re also refreshing in that they’re a younger girl group. I agree that Tate Stevens and Carly Rose Sonenclar are incredibly talented though so this will be a hard choice. My DISH coworker and I are betting on Fifth Harmony. I recorded this on my DISH Hopper with the PrimeTime Anytime feature. I like to set this up to record all primetime programming that comes on the four major networks, without having to set up any individual timers.
