In a new interview, Simon confessed to Ryan Seacrest that he is dating Carmen, and that he thinks she’s ‘adorable.’ How sweet!

Television’s meanest judge has shown his soft side, as Simon Cowell recently admitted that he is dating 90210′s most recent guest star Carmen Electra. He told his good friend and former colleague Ryan Seacrest that they are seeing each other, and that he thinks Carmen is “adorable.” Aw!

CARMEN & SIMON: THE BACKSTORY

Carmen and Simon became friendly earlier this year when Carmen was a guest judge on Britain’s Got Talent. They seemed pretty cosy when they were sitting next to each other! Simon is currently in L.A., finishing the second season of The X Factor, which will air it’s finale on Dec. 20.

Simon and Carmen have been seen on several dates in recent weeks, and finally on Dec. 19, Simon revealed that they are dating, but Carmen is not his girlfriend. “She’s not my girlfriend,” Simon told Ryan. “We’re people who date. She’s adorable, isn’t she?”

And the feeling is mutual! Carmen recently gushed about Simon and explained how they began dating. She said, ”He’s so cute. He is adorable. He’s actually a sweetheart… I really liked him. I think he’s really cool. Now, obviously, he’s in [Los Angeles] with X Factor and we started to hang out and we became friends. I think he’s a great guy.”

The pair have been rumored to be dating since they were seen engaged in some PDA on a lunch date at an L.A. restaurant in September. A fellow diner, who saw them, said that, “They were getting very cosy. They were holding hands and staring into each other’s eyes – and then they started making out. They were with other friends at the restaurant but didn’t seem to mind.”

They sound like they make a great couple!
