Kristen’s co-star Kirsten Dunst just can’t seem to get enough of K-Stew and believes that this is one of her best onscreen performances. Do you think Kristen is better as Marylou than Bella Swan?
Kristen Stewart might have found her new bestie! The actress stars in On The Road, the film based on Jack Kerouac‘s best-selling novel, and her co-star and longtime star, Kirsten Dunst has nothing but great things to say about her.
“So here we are, the two of us,” Kirsten says. “Kirsten and Kristen. We really liked one another and got along great. She’s terrific. Emotional and free. I took her under my wing like she’s my sister.”
How these two bonded before filming the Beat Generation flick
“Before shooting started we all lived together,” she said. “One apartment for two weeks, in a beat boot camp to absorb the period, everything that beats — music, even tapes of real voices of our character types.”
It turns out that Kirsten was cast long before Kristen took the part of Marylou
“Making this we crisscrossed America,” Kirsten said. “But New York was the focal point. This film was six years in the making. I was the first actress cast. Kristen was next. I auditioned for it. My part’s not very big. I have only three scenes. Some were fight scenes. But I’m used to auditioning. I remember my very first. For a commercial. I was 3-years-old. I’ve done this a really long time.”
Do you think Kristen has finally become an A-list actress after the Twilight flicks?
