In the months to come, the royal couple will continue to plan out how they want to raise their bundle of joy — and one of the biggest decisions will be no full-time help!
Kate Middleton and Prince William continue to modernize the monarchy. While there has been talk floating around if the couple will hire any help when it comes to their royal baby — they have maintained that they want to be very hands-on — a new report reveals that they will only hire a part-time nanny!
“They want to be as hands on as possible,” an insider told Us Weekly. But they still have royal duties they need to attend to that they can’t possibly fulfill without some help. Kate wants to return to her work as a volunteer for the Scouts, and other charity organizations.
They also want to make sure their little bundle of joy gets a taste of life outside palace walls.
“They’re very outdoorsy,” another source told the magazine. “I’m sure it will be the same with the kids — playing outside and going for walks.”
The couple has already paved their own route in the royal family. Kate’s “commoner” family, including parents Carole and Michael Middleton have been welcomed into the royal family with open arms, and are expected to play an even bigger role when Kate and Will’s baby is born.
Even though the royal couple still has quite a few months to go until their bundle of joy (or bundles, if twins) arrives, they are already thinking ahead — and Kate is planning getting back on track with her healthy eating as soon as her hyperemesis gravidarum (severe morning sickness) subsides.
We think it’s great that they are going to be so hands-on! What do YOU think of Kate and William only hiring a part-time nanny HollyMoms?
