It wouldn’t be the holiday season without the annual holiday card from the Kardashian clan! This year, reality’s favorite family chose an all-white theme — but Kim’s boyfriend Kanye got snubbed! Do YOU think their relationship is in trouble?
Kim Kardashian made sure her cat Mercy (RIP) got a spot in the family 2012 Christmas card, but her boyfriend — and the cat’s gifter — was nowhere to be found! While Kourtney Kardashian‘s and Khloe Kardashian‘s significant others made a smiling appearance in the card, Kim’s beau Kanye West was completely left out.
So, what gives? According to what a source told InTouch Weekly, Kim has never had a boyfriend make an appearance on the family Christmas card — and the family is pretty strict about having only husbands and baby daddies allowed.
“The only guy she’s ever had on the family card was her first husband,” the source told InTouch. “If she marries Kanye, he’ll be on the card. If they get pregnant before they get married, it will have to be discussed with the family. That’s how Scott [Disick] got on the cards.”
The Cute Christmas Poem Inside
Even the text on the card gives a shoutout to Kim’s recently-deceased kitten, Mercy, who died from a rare stomach problem on Dec. 7.
“Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, Kim was waiting for Santa, while her cat Mercy played with a mouse,” the opening line reads.
Kourtney and Scott’s kids also get an adorable mention. “Penelope and Mason were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of diapers danced in Kourtney and Scott’s heads!”
Despite Kim’s dramatic love life, family matriarch Kris Jenner is extremely fond of Kanye — and even gushed to Jay Leno about him on the Tonight Show. “He’s really great; he’s great with Kim. They’re really happy, and when your kids are happy, you’re happy,” she said on Nov. 21.
Just not great enough to make it on the card!
