
The reality star grew up in Newtown, Conn., and revealed what it was like when he first heard the shocking news about the shooting.
Bruce Jenner‘s heart goes out to his friends, family and neighbors in his hometown of Newtown, Conn. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star tells E! that when he learned of the devastating shooting that left 20 children and six adults dead at Sandy Hook Elementary School, he was shocked: “You just can’t believe it.”
“Not in a million years would you ever think that this quiet little town would have such a terrible, terrible tragedy happen there,” Bruce said. “You just can’t believe it.”
Bruce, who is married to momager Kris Jenner, revealed that his sister went to kindergarten there and that when he first heard about the shooting on TV, he had to take a moment to process what was going on.
“I just get mad inside at humanity sometimes and how a twisted mind can be so evil.”
And a source close to Bruce told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that, “Bruce is going to get his family to do something to help the families affected, whether it is a benefit that raises money for the families funeral costs or make sure to help the families in any way by setting up a foundation. He is going through ideas and making the best effort possible to make something happen!”
One of the father’s of a little girl in the class, Emilie Parker said:
“My daughter Emilie would be one of the first ones giving her love and support to all of the victims, because that’s the kind of person she is” her heart-broken dad said. ”As the deep pain begins to settle in our hearts, we find comfort in the incredible person Emilie was and how many people she was able to touch in her short time on Earth.”

It is nice that a Kardashian/Jenner can take the time from spending big bucks, endless primping, and plain self centeredness to voice sympathy regarding a definite tragedy.
