the video is a total ripoff of rhinnas video and ‘ride’ by lana de rey. might be not taylors fault but then again we don’t know, but the fact that a video was made that resembles quite much two very recent ones, is kind of copying.. the dark taylor thing would be better if you haven’t seen the already this story before..

Taylor did not copy anything! She doesn’t have to she already had 3 rewards for 100 million views on her 3 music videos.

Why would Taylor even bother copy Rihanna’s music video? She doesn’t need to copy from anyone Taylor’s perfect already plus that tramp is nothing compared to Taylor Swift. Oh and at least Taylor’s a better rolemodel than that tramp

Ya, she’s a better role model if you’re a boring little white girl who hasn’t grown up, but dates every white boy this side of Jake Gyllenhall.

Taylor did not copy Rihanna. Both of they’re music videos had the same director, Anthony Mandler so it’s not Taylor’s fault.

Actually, “We Found Love” was directed by Melina Matsoukas…not Anthony Mandler. Mandler directed many of Rihanna’s videos (including Diamonds), but not this one. So Taylor IS copying Rihanna. And it’s copying in a way that is just blatant ripping off. Taylor should have just cut the whole speaking entry and use different look and not looked like she was on drugs…Rihanna can do that look…Not Taylor “We Are never Ever Getting Back Together” Swift.

Not y’all notice this Selena Gomez has been following/copying Miley Cyrus all her career from the guy she dates to the clothes she wears. Selena picks up everything Miley throws out, she like a homeless person who goes throw Miley’s garbage at night.

Uhhh.. NEWS FLASH, EVERYONE!!! Both videos had the same director!! Anthony Mandler has directed give or take about 12 music videos for Rihanna. Of course the videos are going to have a similar style, but it’s not because Taylor copied Rihanna. If you look at all of Mandler’s work, there are many similarities. All that I have watched (Taylor’s, Lana Del Rey’s, and Justin Bieber’s) have opening monologues, a similar tone, and similar scenery. Stop trying to make money off of Taylor by writing articles slamming her when she hasn’t done anything wrong. The director’s vision is what you see on screen, and THAT is why all these artists’ video resemble one another.

She did copy Rihanna… blatantly. I hate T. Swift, and have since she came out with her first teenie-bopper LAME song. She is so UNORIGINAL it isn’t funny. She can’t even decide what music genre she belongs to anymore. Definitely straying away from the country track… which might be a bad idea.

You are correct…Taylor is no virginal princess. Allow me to rephrase: I’m fairly certain Taylor Swift has no need to rip off ideas from a woman who constantly smokes pot, runs around half naked, and doesn’t have enough sense to stay away from Chris Brown (even though I’m willing to bet she’s every bit as volatile as he is).

riri’s music videos all had 00millions views,taylor have 4.

Who cares about the video. The most important thing here is that Taylor wrote ” I knew you were trouble” and Calvin Harris NOT Rihanna is the writer of ” We found love”. One wrote her own songs and the other didn’t.

Melina directed we found love not mandler. If you’re going to. Borrow from someone you don’t take he whole concept. You open with even a voice over seen that’s too much. If rihanna video was like. Five years old then maybe, but he video is like a year.

How could she be the one copying when the artists have nothing to do with it? IT’s the director, he “copies” himself for every video he makes (see his videos for Lana Del Ray, Rihanna, and Taylor, all the same) it’s his style, he’s the one copying himself. Not Taylor or anyone else.

the director of we found love was melina not anthony whatever. and even if riris video came last it would still be the best one because it is explosive, and breathtaking.

He’s copying Melina Matsoukas’ style….Melina directed “We Found Love” (and S&M, Rude Boy, Hard, and Rockstar 101).
Anthony Mandler directed: Shut Up And Drive, Rehab, Disturbia, Diamonds, Only Girl and many other Rihanna videos.
Anthony Mandler directed “Starships”, yet was that similar to Rihanna’s videos? Nope. Taylor obviously had some sort of say into this video and “We Found Love” was obviously her inspiration.

Anthony Mandler is the director… He also did National Athem by Lana as well and often collaborates with Rihanna. It’s just the directors style.

It’s also similar to Lana Del Rey’s “Ride” music video…. I think it’s the same director. My favorite is Lana’s <3
