Kristen is heartbroken over the tragedy that struck the Sandy Hook Elementary School. HollywoodLife.com has all the EXCLUSIVE details on how the concerned actress hopes to help.

Kristen Stewart just returned from NYC where she was busy supporting the victims of Hurricane Sandy. She now hopes to do the same with those suffering in Newtown, Conn.

A friend of Kristen’s tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Kristen is just horrified over what happened in Newtown. She really wants to help the families and teachers and show her support.”

“She plans on making a donation and jumping on the bandwagon for stricter gun laws,” said the friend.

As HollywoodLife.com recently reported, Kristen participated in 12.12.12: The Concert for Sandy Relief, where she urged viewers to lend a hand and support all those suffering. The actress then went on to donate the gorgeous gown she wore to her Los Angeles Breaking Dawn: Part 2 premiere in November to the Robin Hood Foundation, which, in turn, will auction the dress. The money raised will go to the Hurricane Sandy victims.

Kristen’s friend says, “It was Kristen’s idea to donate her red carpet dress to the Hurricane Sandy relief fund. She has a huge heart and helping others is important to her. She feels really fortunate that she is in a position to help so many people and will continue to do as much as she can.”

The auction for her nude, strapless Zuhair Murad dress closes Thursday, Dec.20, with a minimum bid starting at $2,000.

Kristen returned to LA on Dec.14, where she plans on spending the holidays with Robert Pattinson.

We all have made errors of judgement of which we pay the ultiment penalty. Allow this young lady to learn by her actions, and continue a happy life. Bravo to her for her generosity in helping others who have had misfortune thrust there way.

Kristen would be disgusted that you are reporting about her, instead of the tragedy and its victims. Keep you eye on the ball!

This young lady can do a lot of good and set an example for others of her generation to follow in her footsteps. There’s a lot of people hurting in this world today. She should get together with Rob
and other young high paid celebrities to choose a project each quarter. They should make sure it’s a true charity like Red Cross or St. Jude’s before raising money. Just attaching their name to worthy charities would help to raise awareness.
