In a new interview, Kristen revealed that she used to ‘stay in [her] hotel room’ to avoid the negative press following her summer fling with Rupert Sanders.
The most scandalous story of 2012 was when Kristen Stewart‘s summer fling with her married director Rupert Sanders was revealed in July. Kristen’s relationship with Robert Pattinson was broken, and she was the subject of threats, scrutiny and a massive backlash from Twilight fans. Now in a new interview, she admits that people can make mistakes and that she used to stay in her hotel room, rather than “deal with everything.”
Backstory Of The Affair
Robsten fans were shocked and horrified when Kristen’s affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert was revealed, and she and Rob broke up. They later got back together, and now seem to have moved on from the incident. Kristen, 22, already publicly apologized for her affair.
“It’s not a terrible thing if you’re either loved or hated. But honestly, I don’t care ’cause it doesn’t keep me from doing my sh*t. And I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention,” Kristen said.
Kristen has spoken further about the scandal, as she admits hiding in her hotel room was a better option than facing the press.
Kristen Opens Up
In a revealing new interview with The Sun, Kristen says that dealing with the press can be tough.
“You have to be OK with your own fears,” she says. ”If you’re an honest person you’ll make mistakes, but that’s when the most interesting things happen. I used to just stay in my hotel room rather than deal with everything, but if you get too caught up in what others think you become a really disjointed person.”
It is totally understandable that Kristen would rather hide in her hotel room than face the music outside, but it’s good that she has learned to face her fears.

Kristen is such a tramp. Looking for attention…dont care how she gets it. I love Rob..bla bla…I slept with a married man…bla bla bla…I’m too young to know better…Im gonna marry Rob…my fans say it’s ok…Im too young to be blamed but old enough for you all to say I should marry Rob…SO pick one….too young to know better…or old enough to be a home wrecker and marry Rob. Rob…you can do SO much better! Let the cheater go!
Hiding in a hotel room to avoid consequences for what you’ve done wrong isn’t going to solve anything, Kristen. Just face up to it and get all the chaos out the way. Its hard but at least you don’t look weak. Thats no way to win Rob back….no wonder all of this forgiving and getting over the affair is taking longer then it should.

@niken— It was actually debunked that Liberty’s friend is kicking Kristen off the Balenciaga campaign. Think about it: It’s been five months… Why would Balenciaga kick her out now? If they were upset with her they would have ended her contract months ago.

@pechilvr IT WAS AN AFFAIR you dont know how long they were at it the photographers caught them on that day only. but you dont know if there werent other times this happened,which by the way from how cmfortable they are with each other from the pics looks like it was an ongoing thing.

The cheating was past, but the effect is now
recently :
1.Stew has been erased from SWATH sequel,
2.her friend separated from Balenciaga (and was said to be replace by Alexander Wang who is be friend with Rupert’s ex wife)
3.And now she is eliminated from Golden Globe nomination
4. (I doubt the FOCUS news is true, but let see…)
the cheating DID happen because these professionals in fashion and movie industry HAD acknowledged it, by their decision to cut them selves off from the cheater in the scandal !

Wow, could your “facts” be anymore screwed up?
1) Actually you’ll find that it was Rupert Sanders who was removed from the sequel. Yes, Kristen made a mistake but Sanders cheated on his wife. He was her boss and almost twice her age. So excuse the movie studio if they don’t want to work with someone like him.
2) Yes, her friend separated from Balenciaga but that doesn’t have anything to do with Kristen. And while her contract will eventually end Balenciaga sources have already said that this “replace Kristen because of Liberty” is complete bs.
3) Again, what does not getting a golden globe nomination have to do with anything? It just means that the judges thought there were better candidates this year. But the fact that she was even on the nomination lists is fantastic.
4) You doubt the Focus news is true? Even after both Ben & Kristen confirmed it? Well, won’t you be surprised.
Your “cut themselves from the cheater” theory is nothing more than complete bs.

What are you talking about….she begins filming the SWATH sequel in spring! Balenciaga didnt drop Stewart that was just a rumor because Wang is friends with the model Sanders is married to! The lack of the Golden Globe nomination wasnt because of the scandal, it was because of the timing of the film it didnt come out until December so it was ify to begin with. When the star can not be identified with “Bella” and gets that one great role in a really great movie the actress will have proven all the haters wrong in the same manner as Angelina Jolie or Reese Witherspoon did. People tend to forget her age, she is all but 22 years old and a bright future ahead of her because she can grow and hone her acting skills and I cant wait to see that happen for her!

I am probably labeling myself as mentally disturbed but I want to state my opinion that “hiding in hotels” statement is not directly about the scandal and refers to standard operating procedure in avoiding paparazzi and stalkers when filming.

@thandeka – Few dispute that the photographs and the apology are the real thing. The photos, the apology, and her continued relationship with Rob support a “momentary indiscretion” with her boss, a common mistake of youth. The real point is that we are now long past the time where this is current news and to that point in time where anyone that is not mentally disturbed has either moved on or has forgiven her for kissing the wrong guy.

@samantha k he’s probably come back to UK to spend christmas with his family, he has done in the past, as all eyes have been on Kristen over past few days it’ll have made it easy for him to go un-noticed. And before any of you start nothing has been confirmed where either of these are spending christmas and if it together, i’m just guessing.

The Sun is a very reliable news organization if you beliveve the world is flat. I really don’t think she opened up to anyone and this is another gossip site spreading lies to make money. If she was going to interview with anyone about what happened it would not be the Sun the most unreliable news gossip paper in the UK. Maybe Kristen needs to take some of the millions she has and hire a good law firm to start sueing those gossip mags slandering her for money. She probably would but that also means she and Rob would have to confess to their fans that they are not really a couple. The media speculated about them being a couple and the fans fell for it. These two people never told anyone that they were a real couple but they use the paparazzi and other media sources to do the work of lying for them so why would it matter now what’s being said about them.

exactly that even Kristen said she likes to play games making people believe what they want that little fantasy they think they know about her life and @Jess really?? even when don’t say it?? really?? when Rob was asked if they could call her his girl, his answer was “that is so ridiculous” when the affair (yes I’m calling it that: Dry Humping, licking lower parts and play hands are not a one time thing) in this premier he couldn’t sit far enough & even put a box in between them, what else? he was drunk out of his mind on those pics (& mostly every time he is near her for an event) that looked like kisses but weren’t… advice?? look at the video, there is always one unless something is staged and he is yelling at her in a parking lot lol
