‘People’ magazine’s sexiest man alive is about to be the sexiest dad alive — he and wife Jenna are expecting their first child! Congrats to the happy couple!
Channing Tatum is ready to “Step Up” to the plate and be a dad — his wife and film co-star Jenna Dewan-Tatum is pregnant with their first baby! The happy couple confirmed the good news to People on Dec. 17.
Channing and Jenna ”are pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year,” reps for the couple told the magazine.
Jenna looked stunning during VH1 Divas concert on Dec. 16, but sparked pregnancy rumors when she strutted the purple carpet in an empire-waist gown that seemed to cover up a baby bump, and even grabbed at her stomach during the event.
But the exciting news comes as no surprise, as the couple hasn’t been shy about sharing their baby plans.
“I’m ready; I think she’s ready,” the actor told People about his baby plans during his interview for Sexiest Man Alive. “The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we’ll see where we go after that,” he added.
The couple, both 32, met on the set of their hit film Step Up in 2006, where they both played dancers and love interests. They got engaged in September 2008, and wed the next year in July in Malibu Calif.
Even though it’s just the first child for the couple, Channing wouldn’t mind having a huge brood — he (half-jokingly) told People he would love to have as many as 15 kids!
