The former ‘Bachelorette’ was more beautiful than ever in soft side-parted curls and romantic makeup for her wedding to J.P. Rosenbaum, which was television on ABC December 16–do you think this was the most glamorous she’s look? Sound off below!

Millions of hearts melted everywhere when Ashley Hebert, 28, married the man she chose on ‘The Bachelorette,’ J.P. Ashley was a vision in a retro-style fitted gown with hair and makeup to match. “I wanted something natural and something ’20s, ’30s, ’40s-inspired for my hair, so we did a deep side part with finger waves,” Ashley told InStyle.com. “And I wanted the makeup to look soft and romantic.”

Ashley’s hair was defined by finger waves that can be created with a skinny curling iron like Conair Infiniti YOU CURL Curling Wand, which features a tapered barrel. The key to Ashley’s retro look is to part your hair in a deep side part and start the curls from root to tip.

LORAC Cosmetics Founder and Celebrity makeup Artist Carol Shaw created Ashley’s look, giving her an elegant, soft and romantic look with defined eyes and light, glossy lips.

To obtain that flawless complexion, start with Natural Performance Foundation, followed by highlighting and concealing with the Double Feature Concealer/Highlighter. Finish with Translucent Touch-Up Powder.

For show-stopping eyes, start with the PRO Palette, using NUDE all over the lid from the lash line to the brow bone. Fill in the crease with TAUPE. Use ESPRESSO in outer corner, crease and bottom lash line, followed by BLACK along top lash line. Finish with PRO Cream Eye Liner in Black along top lash line.

Use the Creamy Brow Pencil in the color that best matches your brows for a thicker, more defined brown.

Highlight and Contour cheeks with TANtalizer Highlighter / Matte Bronzer Duo. For long-lasting color, use PRO Powder Cheek Stain in Coral Crush on cheekbones. Last, use Baked Matte Satin Blush in Flaunt for a pop of pink just on the apple of the cheek.

For full, yet simple lips, use the Lip Pencil in taupe, and Lips With Benefits Gloss in Mark in light peach.

Randi Rahm designed Ashley’s eggshell silk satin gown, and Bachelorette fans may recognize the designer’s name since she created many of the gowns Ashley wore during her season on The Bachelorette. “I feel like I gave birth to their relationship because I did the dress she was wearing when she met J.P. (left), the dress she got engaged to J.P. (middle) and her wedding dress,” Rahm told InStyle.com. “It’s a trilogy. The next dress I’ll design? Her maternity dress!”

Ashley’s intricately beaded 14-foot train was so heavy, it made it difficult for her to walk up and down the stairs. “Even though the train weighed 40 pounds, I wouldn’t change a thing!” Ashley told InStyle.com. “It was connected to the top of my back, so walking up and down the steps was like I was at the gym!”
Ashley didn’t wear “something blue,” but she did wear “something pink.” “Ashley wanted something fun for her shoes because the dress was serious, so she chose 4.5 inch Manolos,” the show’s stylist Cary Fetman told InStyle.com. “The blush color matched her bubbly personality.” Fun fact: “The shoes are the same ones Carrie left in her closet [in the Sex and the City] movie that Mr. Big discovered,” Ashley said. “I wanted something classic, and it doesn’t get any classier than Manolo Blahnik!”
