According to a source close to Selena, she found out that Justin hung out with her ex Nick Jonas — and she was NOT happy! Could that be why she skipped out on his performance at the Chicago-based Jingle Ball concert on Dec. 15 and opted for a solo date at Panera instead?
Selena Gomez, who usually is a big supporter of Justin Bieber‘s career, was spotted leaving Panera in Encino, California on Dec. 15 — alone! While that’s not a big deal, it is when you consider that Justin was performing in Chicago that night at a Jingle Ball concert. If Selena had time to spend the day alone at Panera, wouldn’t she have wanted to fly to Chicago to support her man? Or is she still mad over Justin’s newfound bromance with her ex Nick Jonas?
Earlier this week, Selena, 20, received news that Justin, 18, and Nick, 20, hung out together. A friend of Selena’s tells HollywoodLife.com that Selena was devastated to hear the two had hung out together and formed a bromance!
While that may not seem like a big deal, Selena used to date Nick! In fact, according to a report, Selena never got over Nick. Their breakup left her devastated.
“It’s never fun to go through a breakup,” a source told PEOPLE in 2010. “But Selena has a lot of friends she’s leaning on for support.”
Perhaps Justin was one of those friends she leaned on. Was Justin just her rebound romance?
JUSTIN AND NICK’S ‘BROMANCE’ REVEALED
Justin and Nick, nonchalantly, both used Twitter to share their night together.
“In the studio tonight working on the acoustic album…had some solid ping pong matches but… still #pingpongchampion,” Justin tweeted on Dec. 14.
Nick also used Twitter on Dec. 13 and write, “Just played @justinbieber in ping pong. Went to deuce both times, but he’s the ping ping champion. #Igotyounexttime : )”

It really seems like Selena is furious with Justin! Selena has been known to go to Justin’s concerts often. Seeing as how she had no plans, except a solo date to Panera, we would think she’d love to visit Justin in Chicago. But she didn’t! We smell trouble.

I’m sorry.. but Selena shouldn’t have gone into a relationship if she didn’t want to get her <3 broken. She needs to think. And it annoys me how she is taking Taylor's advice and might be dating a 1D guy! WTH! hell no! that is the last person u should be taking advice from. TS has dated like over a million guys in 1 year. What is it with you news people. You do not even know if it’s true that they have broken up. END of nonsense.! Maybe selena had to go because she was going to continue on his film. You do not know ANYTHING! Besides, how can you know that it’s over? Have you talked to Selena? NO …. Selena would never act his personal life in front of strangers asking “Are you and Justin still together?”. Let them left alone, are you jealous that they are together, and that you never get a chance between them? One thing is that they are IN LOVE, to it, no one can take away. This is stupid. There is a reason besides the fact that she might be angry at Justin to not go to his concert. She has ONE free day off, and she is in California, while he is in CHICAGO! And she probably had to go to work the next day, and didn’t want to fly all the way out. Hollywood Life, you are just making a big deal out of nothing.
I don’t know the facts but she should not give Nick Jonas so much importance. Nobody is worth it. I think if she never got over NJ she should not be with Justin Bieber. She should have some alone time to find herself.

They had a really good run but I think it’s time for both of them to move on. They don’t seem as happy with each other lately. It would be great to see the two just be single for a while and enjoy some independence.
