The ‘Teen Mom 2’ star is apparently so in love with her new hubby, she didn’t bother signing a prenup and protecting her reality TV cash! Do YOU think that’s a bad idea?
Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers shocked fans everywhere on Dec. 4 when they got married in a quickie courthouse wedding after being engaged for just two weeks. And according to a report on RadarOnline.com, the wedding was so fast, Courtland didn’t even have time to sign a prenup!
“Jenelle didn’t get a prenup with Courtland mostly because she didn’t think she needed one,” a source close to the reality star told RadarOnline. “She’s totally in love with him and thinks their marriage is going to last forever.”
Jenelle, the mother to son Jace, 3, also has a couple other jobs on the side other than her MTV paycheck. She’s a consultant for Scentsy, where she sells candles and also a consultant for Grace Adele, which sells handbags, jewelry and other accessories.
But her frequent legal troubles has meant Jenelle doesn’t have that much money to protect from her new hubby, the source revealed.
“Jenelle doesn’t really have too much money and she didn’t think she would need to keep it from Courtland,” the source said. “She’s going into this marriage believing that they’ll always be together, so she didn’t care enough to get a prenup.”
If his track record is any indication, Courtland also has some felony charges his way for allegedly stealing gift cards.
But Jenelle for sure believes it’s true love — she’s even taken his last name! For the sake of them and Jace, we hope it’s true love as well.
What do YOU think of Jenelle not making Courtland sign a prenup HollyMoms?
