Kristen Stewart went on ‘The Daily Show’ on Dec. 13 and revealed the most challenging moment of her career so far — see what she had to say!
Kristen Stewart managed to avoid all relationship and Twilight talk on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. If you remember, her boyfriend Robert Pattinson was invited to eat Ben & Jerry’s and mourn with Jon when he appeared on the show in August, soon after Kristen’s affair was revealed! Instead, Kristen was all business and spoke about defining moments in her career.
When Rob was on in August, Jon urged him to kick Kristen to the curb! That probably explains why Kristen was so nervous to be a guest! But Jon was a very gracious host, and kept the questions to On The Road and acting.
Kristen Talks ‘On The Road’ Insecurities
Kristen was her usual awkward self, shaking Jon’s hand when she came on stage, rather than the usual kiss-on-the-cheek hello. They featured a clip of Kristen dancing in On The Road, and Jon asked her how she was able to dance on film without inhibition.
“This is me most of the time [crossing arms]. They said, ‘You’re doing On The Road. Don’t mess it up.’ We felt like we would do anything for it. I was pretty scared to do the [dancing] scene. My moments are pretty few and far between where I really get to exhibit pure, wild nature, exuberance.”
For Kristen, it was the book that really struck a chord with her and pushed her to take the role. “It was my first favorite book. It was the first time, for a lot of people…I really came alive. It definitely kick started something in me. I did not think I could play that part at all.”
Kristen’s Interesting Education
Kristen said that she read the book when she was in high school. By that point, she was in private school, since she had already been acting for many years.
“I was 9 or 10 [when I started acting]. I stayed in public school until I was in middle school. I saw [On The Road] on a reading list when I was a freshman. I think now it’s a little older or not at all.”
“I kind of got to design my curriculum, somewhat, it was cool. It was independent study.”
Kristen said that it was more of a private tutor situation. She was actually invited to prom, but there were only a few students!
“I was invited to a prom at one point. The school barely existed!” Jon joked that “prom” was probably held in someone’s basement!
Do you think Kristen will be amazing in On The Road, HollywoodLifers?

well, the way hl writes and give preferences to kristen, even when is not necesary or needed is a typical example of media gone wrong and lack of professionalism,,no matter how they feel about her on a personal level ,they should stop the hero worship and maintain professionalism.ballance is needed here.always tell the story as it is,no extra sugar ,no extra salt.

i fail to see the relevance of this post ….not only they twisted every words that was said in the interview they try to create a lot of drama where there is none . I suppose it would be boring to actually say something close to the truth when it comes to Stewart . I wonder how much longer can they milk these two actors for they own profit and personal agendas … from what i can see it is getting tired and dull these days writing about Pattinson and Stewart , as for me i am glad this whole twilight thing is over , they can go back to making the movies they actually loves and enjoy mainly indies films , they are the best and normal people don’t have to endure all this trash talk and all of the idiots that frequent this blog hopefully will lose interest and the world can finally move on and continue to turn.. one thing for sure this site showed me how awful and mean and nasty the human race can be …GO FORTH .. Robert and Kristen leave long and prosper .. for everyone else that disagree…… you can all go to hell !!!!!

Yes this site does show the mean side of the human spirit sometimes – especially when all those who disagree with someone are told to go to hell. Not very nice! You are misinformed about many things. Rob & Kristen and all the others in the Twilight movies loved making them. They have spoken repeatedly about that. Yes, they may like to make Indie films in the future but often times they are not box office successes and they have difficulty getting the investment needed for them, too. Their fans are always interested in hearing about what Rob and Kristen are doing, where they are going, etc. I don’t think anyone is using hollywoodlife to satisfy their own personal agendas.
If you don’t like the blog, find one you do like.
