Poor Anne! Not even her ‘Les Misérables’ co-star will defend her unfortunate wardrobe malfunction!
Anne Hathaway, 30, was shocked and embarrassed when she embarrassingly exposed her bare crotch at the NYC premiere of Les Misérables on Dec. 10. When times get rough, you’d think that your friends would have your back (or front), but co-star Amanda Seyfried admits that she’s a “fan of underwear.”
“I’m a fan of underwear only because it keeps me warm,” Amanda told TMZ as she was spotted at the airport on Dec. 13. The website claims she’s defending Anne, but it appears to be anything but.
It appears as though Amanda is calling Anne out for not wearing underwear — especially in the midst of winter!
Anne’s Worried Wardrobe Malfunction Could Hurt Her Career
Not only is Anne fearful of losing her reputation as a serious actress, she’s also worried that the malfunction will swipe her chances for an Oscar.
A source close to the situation tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Anne is really hoping for an Oscar for Les Misérables, and she’s worried that this misstep will hurt her credibility as an actress.”
The source points out one reason Anne is so distraught over her commando catastrophe is because she is afraid it has cast a shadow over a project that is very special to her.

I don’t understand how not wearing any underwear can cause someone to “lose their reputation as a serious actress” or “swipe her chances for an Oscar.” I lost all respect for the Academy Awards when The King’s Speech won 4 Oscars. That movie totally sucked.

Gotta do dis because… 1. It doesn’t sound like she’s dissing her it sounds like she’s defending her 2. It makes me sad that Hathaway is worried about her Oscar. I hope they can very much overlook it

If you’re not wearing underwear, you’re going to be careful exiting a car swarming with photographers at a film premier. I think she did it on purpose for attention.

Oh come on Anne did it for the media attention. Last week it was Japan where she went pantaloon free, and even with the back shot photos no body really noticed. Now in New York, with the prime target area for wardrobe appearent misbehavior being the dismount to the red carpet. Without even feeling the chilly winter breeze, Anne exposes her well trimed ready for prime time bush. Now ignore the bush look at her panel dress, with an over sized center modesty panel, and tappered leg exposing side panels that are sat upon. Just what exposed her, the central panel where it had been pulled back to expose, look at the fold in the material, it’s not pulled tight from being sat upon and scooting out of the vehicle. Anne was doing it for the media.

That wasn’t a diss.All she is saying is she doesn’t leave the house without underwear.Ann should’ve at least worn a thong. Her crotch would’ve been covered and pervs wouldn’t be drooling over it as we speak.At least now she should learn how to exit a limo in a proper manner.Before the limo stops she should’ve scooted right up to the door with her legs together. Once the door opens turn both legs out of the car,still together put your feet on the ground and stand up.If still in doubt put your hand in the front part of the dress pressing the fabric together while pushing yourself forward with the other hand.Don’t worry Ann this oops will probably make you more popular. Your career is safe.

Mishaps, malfunctions, errors happen all the time! This should not hurt her creditability as a serious actress. This is not something that she does on a regular basis, hence.. Lindsey Logan..
