Anne Hathaway admits her no underwear wardrobe malfunction on Dec. 10 was ‘devastating’ and a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that she is ‘horrified!’ Poor Anne!
Anne Hathaway, 30, usually looks elegant and regal but on Dec. 10, at the Les Miserables premiere in New York City, she had a wardrobe malfunction of epic proportions! She went commando and gave photographers quite the eyeful as she got out of her car!
Anne is being praised for the Tom Ford gown she wore at the Ziegfeld Theatre, but most people are more focused on what happened just before she hit the red carpet!
NY Daily News is reporting that they overheard Anne talking to Vanity Fair writer Ingrid Sischy at a lunch on Dec. 11.
“I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn’t realize it until I saw all the photographers’ flashes. It was devastating. They saw everything. I might as well have lifted up my skirt for them.”
A source close to Anne tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that she is “temporarily horrified but now is dealing with the situation as something that will pass and be forgotten.”
“She didn’t wear underwear because it affected the wear of the dress,” our source added. No VPLs here, that’s for sure!
Anne recently spoke to our sister site Deadline.com about the thrill of singing on camera in Les Miserables:
“I found it liberating to sing on camera. On stage, you have to indicate having a thought, and the word you are singing must indicate it as well, but on camera, you can have ideas, you can take in all the stimuli that the character would be taking in, there’s a freedom you get, and you don’t have the obligation to transmit each idea to the back of the house. It felt so much closer to reality for me.”
Do YOU think Anne should be embarrassed, HollywoodLifers?
