We’re still four weeks away from the winter premiere of Pretty Little Liars, but when I caught up with Lucy Hale at ABC Family’s “Winter Wonderland” event in NYC, I was thinking a little further down the road. Like, season finale far. And much to my surprise, Lucy was more than happy to serve up some spoilers about the “messed-up” situation the ladies of Rosewood will find themselves in the final scene of the final episode.
“I’m sure they’ll cut out to our faces … and it’s literally jaw-dropping,” she told HollywoodLife.com of those final moments. ”It’s kind of mind-blowing. Maybe it’s mind-blowing for me because I don’t know where [the writers are] going after. But I remember shooting it, thinking, ‘This is so messed up. What we’re shooting right now is so messed up.’ It’s good, you won’t be let down!”

Lucy also gave a little more insight about Aria’s first “encounter” with Alison (Sasha Pieterse) later this season.
“You don’t know if she’s dreaming it, or she’s delusional, or if Alison’s really there,” Lucy said. “It’s pretty juicy stuff.”
We also discussed Lucy’s life outside of Rosewood — specifically about how she’s doing with her upcoming debut country album.
“When I signed the deal, I was like, ‘I want to be hands-on with every song on that album. … I just wanted it to be as genuine as possible. I just want people to believe every word I’m singing about.”
