So devastating. Although her family had hoped that she would be found alive, Jenni’s remains were found in the early hours of Dec. 11 after her tragic plane crash on Dec. 9.
Jenni Rivera‘s family has lost all hope that she could still be alive after Jenni’s remains were found at the crash site on Dec. 11. Jenni died when her plane went down on Dec. 9, killing all seven people on board. The Grammy winning singer was identified by her driver’s license, which was found with her body.
Jenni, who was known as the “Diva of Banda,” is a famous Mexican-American singer, and her life was taken too early in the tragic Learjet plane crash. The plane went down several minutes after take off when it lost contact with air traffic controllers, and it crashed into the mountains in Nuevo Leon state, Mexico.
On Dec. 10, Jenni’s brother Juan Rivera said that he and his family believed that Jenni could still be alive. He said, “In our eyes, we still have faith that our sister will be OK.” However, the following day search and rescue teams recovered 43-year-old Jenni’s remains at the site, reports Zap2it. Jenni’s other brother Lupillo will travel to Mexico to bring home her remains so that she can be buried in Southern California.
Many celebrities have offered their condolences to Jenni’s family, including Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer tweeted, “So sad!! Praying for Jenni Rivera’s children and family and the passengers families.”
And in a cruel twist of fate, it is believed that Jenni’s traveling conditions were not as safe as could be, as her Pilot was overworked and the plane had previous history of crashing. So sad.
It is a tragic end to a tragic story, but at least Jenni’s family will have closure, as now they will be able to bury her and say goodbye.

Its good to know she made peace with her brother I lost my brother an live with the regret of lot of unsaid things things that should have been spoken now I will never have the chance n he will never know. i dont think she dead. Although body remains appeard to be jenni rivera like a left foot with nail polish. so tell me this. if its her foot why on her last concert she had blue polish. i still have hope and that she can be alive kidnapped all this can be a coverup. but i pray everday n night to her family friends and of course Jenni Rivera. I KNOW GOD WILL HELP THEM FIND THE REAL TRUTH.

I strongly believe jenni’s death was Not an Accident, it is Destiny. Too many clues links, the stage was a cross shaped, her last song “como murre una Dama”. Her black dress, her called to her daugther, her overwhelmed feeling of Happiness and feeling at Peace! I don’t know! I have a feeling it was El Destino! I believe we all come with s round trip ticket with a day of Arrival. And Departure, and some how we sense it or feel it. For those that believe in Reincarnation, if we have been here before I hope at least we would know the feeling of Departing! . Destiny it is totally out of our hands and beyond out Reach! She did with her brother Lupillo a few weeks ago but her and her daughter Janney aka Chiquis had NOT made up, she mentioned it on her twitter & in an interview she did like 2 weeks ago, u can google it. Its so devastating! For her and all the lives lost. In an interview she gave a few months ago the reporter asked if she was afraid of dying and she said, I’m not afraid to die. But I’m afraid as to what will happen to my children, I need to be here for them… :( heart breaking!!!

Not oNLy did she make up with her daughter she Also made up with one of her brothers she hadnt spoken to.. Its a relief she can rest in peace after having such a hard personal lífe as Well as in her career.. RIP jenni!!

i have no words. i was never a big Jenni Rivera fan, but my Mum is related to her ex-husband. that doesnt matter tho. i always thought she was talented. maybe she knew tht it was her time.that remarkable speach the day b4 her death was beautiful,making it even worse that she said ” all the times i have fallen down, i have gotten right back up” GOD BLESS U JENNI “DIVA DE LA BANDA” U WILL ALLWAYS B REMEMBERED!!!!!!!!!!

It’s such a tragedy. Her plane was blown up by Los Zetas, she was one among many of their targets. Still can’t believe La Gran Senora is no longer with us.
