So sad. The tragic accident which took the life of Jenni and six other passengers might have been avoided, as it appears that the pilot had logged more hours than allowed, while the Learjet plane had been involved in a previous accident.
The story of Grammy winning singer Jenni Rivera‘s death keeps unfolding, as it appears the tragic accident which took her life might possibly have been avoided. Jenni, 43, died when her Learjet plane went down several minutes after take off, as it lost contact with air traffic controllers on Dec 9. In the wake of her death, it has been revealed that her 78-year-old pilot Miguel Pérez had worked more hours than allowed, and her plane had previously crashed in 2005. Read on for all the tragic details.
Jenni’s plane tragically crashed in Mexico several minutes after take off and there are no survivors. While Jenni’s family were hoping that she would be found alive, their hopes were dashed when her remains were found in the early hours of Dec. 11. Jenni’s family intend to bring her home to Southern California to bury her.
In a cruel twist of fate, it now looks like Jenni’s traveling conditions were unsafe to begin with. The plane’s pilots had logged more than 19 hours on shift which violates commercial airline regulations, reports ABC News. Furthermore, the Learjet plane had a history of poor safety, as it crashed in 2005 when it experienced a fuel system malfunction, resulting in one wing weighing more than the other. Did these awful circumstances contribute to her death?
Jenni’s death has devastated her fans, and the Universal Music Group has released statement about the tragic incident:
“The entire Universal Music Group family is deeply saddened by the sudden loss of our dear friend Jenni Rivera. The world rarely sees someone who has had such a profound impact on so many. From her incredibly versatile talent to the way she embraced her fans around the world, Jenni was simply incomparable. Her talent will be missed; but her gift of music will be with us always.”

False. A Lear or Hawker will only fly as safe as the jocks up front make it. That argument is weak and will be proven when all is said and done.
