Personally, I’m always weary of what we’ll find on the red carpet at any music awards show, (let alone a country show), but the red carpet at the 2012 American Country Awards was quite interesting! We saw sparkling minis, bright jewel tones and a slew of outfit changes on the likes of Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Carmen Electra and more — and you can see everyone who made our best dressed list right here.
Carmen showed off not one but two sexy dresses, while Carrie was back to her feminine frocks showing off a lace Georges Chakra Couture bubble dress. From the pretty peach hue to the lines of pearls, the look was classic Carrie. While last week she surprised us in a more edgy black jumpsuit, on this occasion she embraced her feminine style. Personally, I think both looks are great on the star — but I do wish she would experiment more with her hair from time to time!
Another star who kept it fun and feminine on the red carpet was Jewel. The bubble-gum pink, sparkling one-shoulder David Meister frock fit her perfectly and she accessorized it so well, however I wish it was a different color. While the pink was pretty, I think she would’ve looked much more elegant had it been a different hue.
Leann Rimes turned up putting her svelte figure on full display in a long-sleeved black Dolce & Gabbana form-fitting frock. While I loved her sexy Tom Ford pumps, her large white clutch seemed so out of place with her sleek get-up.
