Clad in a micro-mini complete with cutout detailing in the back, the star ditched her feminine flowing frocks for an ultra sexy dress — we’re loving this new side of the star! Do you agree?
Taylor Swift has an affinity for golden gowns, fit-and-flare silhouettes and lovely lace dresses, but lately she’s been showing off a new, grown-up look — and we were shocked to see her step out in a form-fitting black mini flaunting her sexiest red carpet dress ever when she attended Z100’s Jingle Ball 2012 at Madison Square Garden in NYC on Dec. 7.
Her leggy look, from designer David Koma’s Spring 2013 collection, was an unexpected choice on Taylor. Given that it was a holiday event, I would’ve easily bet that she would’ve opted for a golden, long-sleeved mini or an embellished dress with sequins– not something so sexy and chic!
The short dress fit her figure like a glove, and the cutout detailing in the back added a fun vibe to the ensemble. Keeping the accessories to a minimum, she completed the get-up with a pair of Jimmy Choo peep-toe pumps and her signature red lip.
The star certainly has the figure for this dress and we love this new, sophisticated side of the star. While I certainly love all of her feminine frocks, it is refreshing to see her experiment with her sense of style. I can’t wait to see what she’s going to wear for her next appearance!
After walking the red carpet in her sexy LBD, she slipped into high-waisted red shorts for her fun performance — but it was definitely her black dress that really stood out to me!
What do you think of Taylor’s more mature, grown-up outfit choices? Do you love seeing a new side of the star or do you miss her flirty, feminine frocks?
