Lindsay Lohan made headlines with her critically panned performance in Lifetime’s Liz & Dick and now, she’s back in the news for all the wrong reasons! Not only has the IRS frozen her bank accounts because she reportedly owes $250,000 in taxes, but now she is being accused of sabotaging her stint on the Bravo reality show Million Dollar Decorators.
TMZ is reporting that Lindsay is struggling to pay the $8,000 rent on her mansion in Beverly Hills. She first moved in back in February when it seemed she’d have money rolling in from her many projects. But things have changed, and Lindsay is allegedly having financial hardships. She’s even having to borrow money from friends!
She was looking to break her lease early, but because of “massive” penalties, she is being forced to keep her lease until February 2013. TMZ reports that she will look for a place in New York at that time.
Meanwhile, Lindsay’s house is set to be featured on Bravo’s reality show Million Dollar Decorators. Producers allegedly spent around $200,000 revamping the house, and after it was completed, Lindsay stopped returning their calls. Although she filmed segments in the beginning, including a trip to go furniture shopping, TMZ says she ditched the show before they could film the “after” aka the big reveal.
Footage is being pulled together and will reportedly air early next year.
