The star opens up about how Cory makes her feel like ‘the luckiest girl in the world,’ her rumored feud with Kate Hudson and puts the diva rumors to a rest in this telling interview. Check out all the sexy pics and see what she had to say right here!
Glee gal Lea Michele looks stunning on the cover of Marie Claire, where the star shows off a slew of menswear inspired looks that are playfully balanced out with sexy lingerie — and she looks better than ever! Inside the mag, Lea gushes about her relationship with her co-star-turned-boyfriend, Cory Monteith.
“I don’t even remember a time when he wasn’t my boyfriend. No one knows me better than Cory. No one knows what it’s been like to go through this more than he does. Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther,” she said. “He makes me feel like I can do anything. For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
On Glee Lea gets to interact with amazing special guests — but sometimes the rumors swirl out of control! For example when Kate Hudson did a stint on the hit show, there were many rumors regarding the interaction between the two women. Lea put the lies to rest, telling the mag how the situation made her love Kate even more. Lea tells the mag how after Kate heard the rumors she personally called Lea and said, “I just heard about that, and it f**king sucks. I want you to know I think you’re amazing.” The result of the one-on-one call? Lea said Kate went “straight to the top of my list because it was so classy of her to take a minute to [address the rumor], even though we both knew it was the biggest piece of crap in the whole world. I told her ‘I love you, and I adore you. Thank you so much for creating a human moment with me.’”
While Lea seems as real as they get, she often has to combat diva rumors — so how does she deal? “I am a very outspoken person, and if something makes me uncomfortable, you will know that it makes be uncomfortable, but that’s as far as it goes,” she said. “I can assure you that [diva rumors] aren’t real. It’s super-frustrating sometimes, and I used to fight back, but now I feel like, You can think what you want to think about me – that’s OK. I have the most amazing fans, friends, and family members who have stood by me, and I know that my cast and crew really enjoy working with me. That’s all that matters.”
