Another alleged victim has come forward to claim he also had a sexual relationship with Kevin when he was a minor, and the puppeteer was in his 30s. This is the fourth accuser in two months — do YOU think Kevin is guilty?
The accuser filed a lawsuit in a federal New York court, and is claiming he first met Kevin in Miami Beach in 1995 or 1996 when he was just 16 or 17, according to TMZ. Kevin was in his 30s at the time.
John Doe also alleges that Kevin flew him out to New York City, and gave him money as well as a place to stay — and the two had sex several times during the trip.
The lawsuit also states that the accuser suffered tremendous “emotional, mental and psychological damage” because of the relationship.
“According to our lawsuit, Kevin Clash knowingly paid to transport a minor across state lines for the purpose of satisfying his sexual interests,” John Doe’s lawyer Jeff Herman told TMZ.
Kevin Clash is facing four sexual accusers and three lawsuits
Since the first alleged victim came forward on Nov. 12, Kevin has faced a total of four accusers who claim he had sex with them when they are all under the age of 18. Although he agreed to a consenting sexual relationship with the first accuser when he was of adult age, Kevin and the alleged victim settled outside of court.
But he is facing three lawsuits by additional accusers — the second alleged victim claims he and Kevin had sex in the early 1990s when he was 15 and Kevin was 32. The third victim also claimed he had sex with Kevin in 2000 when he was just 16.
Kevin resigned from Seasame Street in November after the second accuser came forward.
