The 43-year-old Mexican American singer tragically died on Dec. 9 when her jet crashed and now her celebrity friends from the Latin community are speaking out.
Jenni Rivera will be deeply missed by her family, friends and fans. The singer who had been named one of People En Español‘s 25 most powerful women died in a plane crash, after her concert in Monterrey, Mexico and now her pals Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, Wilmer Valderrama, and many others are speaking out.
“My heart breaks for the loss of Jenni Rivera & everyone on the plane,” Eva tweeted. “My prayers go out to her family. We lost a legend today.”
J.Lo posted this message: “So sad!! Praying for Jenni Rivera’s children and family and the passengers families.”
“Heard confirmed news about our dear @JenniRivera. This breaks my heart in a million pieces,” Wilmer wrote. “It is just a huge loss for our community. Your story, ur passion, ur pride 4 ur family & ur latino community inspired us all. U leave behind the legacy of an icon #RIPJenniRivera.”
Mario Lopez posted: “Spent some time with Jenni Rivera recently. What an amazing lady… Cool, smart, funny & talented. Such a travesty… God Bless her family.”
Grammy Award winner Gloria Estefean told fans the following: Our deepest sympathy to the family & fans of @jennirivera & those that accompanied her on what was to be her last voyage. Rest in peace.”
Jenni’s remains were found on Dec. 11 at the site of the crash. So sad.
