Robin’s ‘GMA’ buddies stopped by her house to surprise her with a Christmas tree! They exchanged gifts and sang festive songs with the anchor who has been recovering from her bone marrow transplant.
Robin Roberts is lucky to have friends like: Josh Elliott, George Stephanopoulos, Lara Spencer and Sam Champion. The GMA host was diagnosed with MDS, a rare blood disorder, and she has been on medical leave since August. But her friends at Good Morning America didn’t want Robin to be alone during the holidays, so they brought her some holiday cheer.
The hosts showed up to Robin’s NYC apartment with a tree, decorations, presents, eggnog, and a much-needed happy attitude.
Rob has been battling Myelodisplastic Syndrome and her immune system is so low that she must wear a mask when she leaves her apartment. But she keeps saying that she plans to come back to the morning show and we hope she does!
