The Onion article was satire. It is aimed more at people and media outlets that obsess over celebrities than it is at Mr. Brown himself. Media outlets kind of like this website. I think there is irony in here somewhere.

The Onion does satire. The story was a spoof. You may want to look up the definition of ‘satire’ before looking more foolish.

Yes the article went to far, I think there is an unwritten code that comedians and journalist are off limits. This definitely was written because of the argument with Ms. Cyber Bully. The Onion was using its power of the pen to defend Ms. Cyber Bully who is also a “comedian” They need to get over themselves and stop bullying this kid. This is getting beyond ridiculous.

No, there’s no such “unwritten code”, and not everything that you don’t like constitutes “bullying”. It makes no sense to tell a satiric publication not to mock a violent celebrity.

Folk need to stop this whole “lets bash Chris brown until he loses fans, fame and fortune” thing. Its BEEN old now its annoying how about The Union write about all the women Charlie Sheen has beaten to a pulp and how he even shot his girlfriend? Now thats some fascinating stuff tbh

The Onion (as opposed to “The Union”, whatever that is) mocked Charlie Sheen ad nauseam, something you’d know if you’d ever read it.
