We’re finally getting our first look at the new ‘Star Trek’ movie — and it’s fantastic!
Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot released an announcement video/teaser trailer for JJ Abrams‘ Star Trek sequel Star Trek Into Darkness on Dec. 6! It’s a 1-minute tease for the 2-minute trailer that will be released next week!
The trailer showcases a much darker, grittier Trek film than its predecessor. According to Slash Film, JJ is certainly going all Empire Strikes Back with this sequel!

Stay true to Rodenberry’s original concept and you can;t go wrong with this new crew and today’s
special effects. I loved the last new Star Trek .Zachary Quinto as Spock was an inspired choice in casting. Chris Pine as the young Captain Kirk was dead on. He’s got Shatner’s cockiness and his mannerisms down perfect. Looking forward to another adventure. Thank you MR. aBRAMS.
