Carly Rose’s rendition of ‘As Long As You Love Me’ on the Dec. 5 episode of ‘The X Factor’ was better than Justin Bieber’s original version! Do you agree?
Carly Rose Sonenclar blew away the competition on the Dec. 5 episode of The X Factor — she even proved to be BETTER than Justin Bieber!
“I love it when I hear unplugged versions of songs that are actually better than the original song. I mean, you sang it better than Justin did,” Demi Lovato told Carly Rose, agreeing with us!
Not only did Carly Rose make the song her own by slowing down the track, but she hit notes that Justin could only wish to achieve! (Sorry, Justin.)

now Carly is talented i like her on the X factor she is my favourite i am Canadian and i cant vote for her because i am not american but i would if i was but anyway i like Justin way so much better because first of all i am a belieber and i support Justin in everything and when it comes to Justin and someone else i ALWAYS pick Justin no matter what and 2nd reason is Justin will always win when it comes to his songs because they r his songs and they r meant for Justin and no one else

I puked a little in my month. I see better artist than Justin Bieber in the New York subway stations and live music clubs. Give one of those artists the amount of marketing, production, song writers and training that Justin has and they can give him a run for his tittle. Carly’s version of the song shows a vacal talent thang Justin has not display, ever.

I must agree with the statement below. Justin dances and performs to hide his lack of voice. AUTOTUNE hello? even on the victoria secret show his own voice was hidden behind his backup singers. Carly on the other hand does not need back up dancers because the audience is moved enough by her VOICE.

Carly Rose can ACTUALLY sing – she doesn’t need fancy dance moves, stupid lothes, backup dancers, etc. SHe is a singer, and she sang it amazing. WAYYYYYY better than Bieber.

No I heard Justin Bieber Sing this song acoustically at the AMAs and it was very good. Obviously this young girl is talented but i prefer Justin Bieber’s version.

Everyone on here that is saying Carly is not as good as Justin are probably little 14 year olds who are brainwashed by his good looks. The fact is that Carly CAN in fact sing and she is a very very talented little girl. Justin on the other hand is struggling with his voice right not, not to say he does not have any talent or anything because he does but you cant go and say this little girl is horrible just because all you little girls are obsessed with Justin. If this wasnt Justins song im pretty sure all of you would have loved it.

You ‘always’ have negative articles about Justin. ( jealous? insecure?)
It’s rather silly saying a guy can’t reach notes a little girl can reach.
Every time someone sings a JB song… “it’s better then the original !!!!”. (really?)
Seems like Justin is the one selling out arenas and 60,000 seat stadiums.
The world is filled with amazing singers, but there are only a few amazing entertainers.

I’d rather listen to the amazing singers, then the few amazing entertainers. And considering this little girl is only 13, she still has time to expand and grow into her already amazing voice. She WILL be selling out arenas in the near future. Guaranteed.

Whoa. How can you can compare a live performance with a synthesized, autotuned, studio-edited song? It’s ridiculous. I saw the video of Bieber singing this live (AMAs 2012) and sounded nowhere near this studio version, much less Carly’s accoustic performance. He sounded off key and out of breath at times. I think she did very well indeed.

She didn’t put the effort in like Justin did i don’t see her making a music video doing the incredible dances that Justin did. She’s good but not as good as Justin.
Seriously dude who ever you use your brain it was an unplugged performance and she is still getting to her courier path you know……she can’t now go and make a video while she is on x factor…….you don’t watch and listen to the show properly because she wasn’t supposed to have dancers…….ay

I had heard about this and finally just saw it and are you freaking kidding me?! She wasn’t anywhere near as good as him, I couldn’t stand listening to her sing it all the way through… His version (I mean, it’s his song) is amazing and flawless, and acoustically, it’s beautiful.. I have yet to hear anyone cover one of his songs and like it… He is one of a kind and he is insanely talented.. His voice is beautiful and I wouldn’t compare anyone to him., because to me, they’re not gonna measure up anyway.
