The star flaunted her svelte frame in a gown that put her back on full display.
While strong>Anne Hathaway hasn’t totally blown me away with her premiere looks while promoting Les Miserables, I definitely did a double take when she walked the red carpet in London on Dec. 5. While her white satin Givenchy Spring 2012 couture gown is causing quite the stir, (and unfortunately not for all the right reasons), it was definitely dramatic — and that’s why I liked the look on Anne.
I also think I’m just really happy to see the star wearing a dress that finally fits. Her extreme weight loss for the film always seems to be a main talking point surrounding the movie, and when Anne steps out in a dress that looks like it’s hanging off her frame you’re instantly reminded of it yet again. She’s such a striking star — there’s no reason for her to look like she’s wearing a paper bag!
Her white silk frock hugged her figure, and she looked so confident flaunting her frame in the beaded halter gown. While it gathered in the front the back gave way to her bare skin, adding such a dramatic touch to her red carpet look.
Anne loves taking risks on the red carpet, and I really thought her choice was appropriate for the premiere.
