In a clip from Jay-Z’s documentary ‘Life & Times’ the rapper decides to trade in his fancy car to slum it on the subway with New Yorkers in this video — but the best part is when an older woman named Ellen asks Jay what he does for a living!

Jay-Z is such a humble guy! The rapper stars in an upcoming 24-minute documentary and in this new clip, it’s clear that Jay doesn’t mind if you don’t recognize him off the stage. Jay is on his way to perform at his last of eight shows at the Barclay’s Arena in Brooklyn, and instead of riding in his tricked out ride, he opts for the subway!

Jay hops onto the R train and sits down next to an older woman named Ellen. This delightful lady doesn’t realize who Jay-Z is at first and asks Jay what he does and where he’s headed!

Watch the adorable video!
