Kristen and Rob were planning on spending the holidays together, but according to a new report, the couple has decided to celebrate Christmas separately with their own families!
A new report says Kristen Stewart‘s Thanksgiving with Robert Pattinson‘s family in London was “nerve-wracking,” prompting the twosome to go their separate ways for the holidays. Oh no!
A source tells Heat, “The family were smiling at Kristen and looking totally at ease on the red carpet, (during the Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 premiere) but back at the family home over the following weekend things were more difficult.”
“They had a meal on Thanksgiving, and it was nerve-wracking for Kristen. She felt very uncomfortable and Rob’s sisters couldn’t be completely welcoming,” said the source. “It won’t go back to normal straight away, even if Rob has decided to try again.”
“Rob’s mum wanted him to spend Christmas with them in London and, before their trip to the UK, that had been his and Kristen’s plan. From London, they were going to fly to Mexico for New Year,” the source explained.
But that’s all changed now.
“Rob’s family made it clear that they really want to see him over Christmas and, after the intense promotional tour for Twilight, Rob liked the idea of spending time alone with his family,” said the source.

Kristen won’t be alone she will spend time with her mum and dad who supposedly live in different houses and see her brothers after all she didn’t pend time with them at thanksgiving as she was in UK . This is their usual procedure and then they meet up for New Year so what are you all arguing about .What ever they do is wrong according to someone just let them be and be happy enough is enough so give it a rest
I think it’s great they don’t have to spend every holiday together, I’ve been married27 years,same person, and he sometimes goes to his family and I go to mine. and they are not married.Doesn’t mean they can’t celebrate christmas with each other. I have to work christmas eve and day sowe are celebrating on the 26and 27
best news i have heard on this site—–i think they both need time apart !!!!! and w/o paps around—no one seems to bother rob when he is with his family and i think that is great—he has had a crappy year and i hope he goes out with friends and family w/o a camera or microphone shoved in his face—if anybody deserves some down time i think it is rob—–just from seeing his family they seem like a really tight knit group and that is why rob is the way he is——-enjoy your time away from l.a. rob——

@jane, I agree with you!! Having your family close even if youre far away its the best thing to have, and of course they want to be alone with him, they havent been alone with him for God knows how long. Is think having a family like his is a blessing

I hope the best for them but i can understand if robs family stays a bit unsure about kristen, rob did suffer a lot during the world wide news of kristen moment of …. we all learned about, maybe with time robs fam will learn to trust kristen again and forgive her also in their hearts

What is the matter with all you people they do not spend Christmas together but get together again for New Year it has been this way for last Two years at least.Perhaps Rob wants to spend Xmas with Fmily before 3 month stint in Australia and as to Kristen being not welcome any future mother/mother in law knows to be anti the daughter in law to be is pure stupidity they will only lose in the long run by rarely seeing their son and/or grandchildren.Just hope Kristen is ow going to Austalia with Rob to escape all his media crap just for a break together before he starts working.

Am kate i am working with british amb. Every year rob comes for his visa through his agent very early but this year his agent has not come so am telling u the true rob is not going to spend christmas in london, the reason am commenting is HL make me sick and there is no source.

@Richeal, he is a british citizen and unless he has changed his nationality he does not need a visa to go to England!!!! I am Bahamian – The Bahamas is a part of the Commonwealth and even we don’t need a visa to vist England. That is no indication that he will be staying in the US.
