‘Glee’: Jessica Sanchez ‘Definitely’ Wants To Be Finn’s Love Interest

Jessica Sanchez attended the Trevor Live event on Dec. 2 at the Hollywood Palladium and revealed exclusively to HollywoodLife.com that she’s ‘excited’ at the idea of playing Finn’s love interest on ‘Glee.’

Jessica Sanchez will begin filming her mutli-episode arc on Glee this January, the former American Idol contestant revealed at the Trevor Live event on Dec. 2. Not only will she be a fresh face on the 4-year-old series, but she’ll allegedly be playing a new love interest for Finn (Cory Monteith), who recently broke up with Rachel (Lea Michele)!

When asked about rumors she’d be Finn’s love interest on Glee, Jessica told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Yeah, my Mom and my friends tell me, everyone tells me that I am going to be Finn’s love interest! I am very excited if that happens! It would definitely be the role to play!”

Whether or not she ends up locking lips with Finn, Jessica is certainly prepared for whatever character she’s handed. “I have been doing acting and dancing classes, which has kept me busy,” Jessica told us.

To be honest it was an incredible detailed article nevertheless as with most wonderful copy writers there are several details that could be worked after. Yet never ever the significantly less it had been interesting.

Even if Jessica is 17 she still belongs on glee because she’s a really good singer and you guys shouldn’t be acting like that to Jessica. How would you guys feel if you we’re being told the mean things your saying.

I adore Jessica Sanchez, so I am very excited to see her debut on “Glee.” It will be interesting if she is in fact Finn’s new love interest, especially after seasons of only seeing him with Rachel or Quinn. A coworker at DISH and I have been debating how she will play into the show. We think it would be interesting if she was a sibling of a New Directions member. Seeing how he would react in that situation would be a very interesting storyline. I am so glad that even with my late train; I won’t miss her debut with my DISH Hopper. The PrimeTime Anytime function has really helped me stay caught up with all of my shows. It automatically records the four major networks during primetime, storing them for eight days after they air. I love having plenty of time to catch up, and that I get to watch the episodes commercial free. Now that Rachel has a new love interest, it was only a matter of time until Finn got one of his own. With Jessica Sanchez’ amazing voice, I can’t wait to see how this potential love connection turns out.

I am not really interested in Glee, but I will now watch it because Jessica Sanchez is in it, do not care much about her acting just want to ear her sing, but she is a hard working girl so I am sure she will pull it of, just like she did with MY ALL by Marieh Carey on American Idol, she will bring a army of fans (Blue Jay’s) along with her so it should boost the ratings, some-thing Glee will not have over looked.

This article is *very* misleading. The writer twisted an off-the-cuff comment jessica made about her mom teasing her about what role she would play into the writer saying that she is rumored to being playing that role. Irresponsible journalism at its finest.

1. The actress, at 17, would in no way be believable playing opposite Cory, even though the character Finn is supposed to be 18 or 19. The actors playing grads need to be paired with actors in age brackets that are believable. And Finn as a character needs to be show moving forward in his adult life, not retrogressing by getting in a relationship with someone who’s character IS in high school or who LOOKS like she should be in high school.

2. This kid is a singer. She’s not an actress. She’s being brought in to cross-promote Idol and Glee when Idol becomes the show’s January lead-in, not because she’s can act. Glee cannot afford a SINGLE additional cast member who isn’t an actor placed in a role requiring acting; they are superloaded with that all ready with some of the new people brought in this year. And the role of Finn’s new love interest is high profile and calls for an actor who can play strongly with Cory; it’s bad enough that Lea’s stuck with a partner who can’t come close to keeping up with her. The show can’t afford to make that mistake again.

Give her a role that requires her to stand and sing — a rival singing lead for ND or for Rachel, even — and no more. The show doesn’t have enough air time to squander on poor acting dragging down any more stories.
