Kristen and Rob are happier than ever and loving their ‘normal’ time right now, a friend reveals exclusively to HollywoodLife.com!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are enjoying a break after promoting the final installment in the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn Part 2. Rob, 26, doesn’t start filming his next movie, The Rover, until January, so him and Kristen, 22, are taking advantage of their time together by curling up on the couch and appreciating one another.

A friend of Kristen’s tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Rob and Kristen are really happy to be back home in LA. They are thrilled to just enjoy the holidays and relax. The two of them really do prefer the simple things in life. They really appreciate this down time when they can kind of have normal lives and do normal, everyday things. Kristen says they are the happiest when they can lounge around at home, listen to music, and spend time with each other and close friends –and of course hang out and play with their dogs. [Kristen and Rob] really do bring out the best in each other and Kristen knows this.”

Of course, Rob and Kristen do enjoy a night out on the town from time to time as well. On Nov. 27, they had a private date night at the luxury Chateau Marmont.

Ok so I don’t buy all the news online or magazine’s they are just bogus but sometime it’s true like 5% then other 95% false!!! maybe rupert ;) the question is…..everybody follows the love life of robert and kristen, I understand that, But….If they really have a relationship together, then why they just give not an answer to that question as the media or TV that ask???? If they say “yes, we have a relationship”….then that is clear and nobody needs to guess anymore.

If they make eachother happy then that’s great and let’s leave that alone. On the last episode of the new normal they busted on Kristen and even though it was funny it was also sad to realize that even her fellow acting community thinks about her the same way some of her fans do. Brian a gay man on the show was talking about having Kristen on the show he hosts. he was holding a plate full of pizza dough balls and said “I got these when I was trying to get Kristen Stewart on the show. Then I found out she’s gluten free and joy free.” Kristen if you happen to read this please smile more every where you go from now on regardless of paps being around. You have a beautiful smile and I don’t want to hear comments like this about you on TV anymore. You’re not joy free. Rob thinks your an amazing person and that’s good enough for me. @Laura, Rob seems (tweeter pic) that he is over the affair or knows exactly what happened. Fans like you are the ones that are not over it, even when it is none of your business! Rob is a grown man, give him some credit, he knows how to handle his own life. Like, Woody88 has said several times, it’s his fans that are not over the affair, when in reality the fans don’t count. It is obvious that Rob does not let his fans run his private life. He needs to be respected for that!

@laura – We have seen hundreds of Rob interviews since the scandal story broke. He was shaky during Cosmopolis week in NYC but fine starting with Jimmy Kimmel in LA just days later. There is no credible evidence that Rob has been broken. The credible evidence is that their relationship has 100% moved forward from that situation. I am not saying forgotten. I am saying irrelevant to what they are doing together now.

@irish girl. Prediction is a slippery slope. I would say that Rob understands Kristen far better than any of us and he is predicting that she has learned her lesson. I just saw Pitch Perfect. One of the major themes is how horny college students can be. I do not believe that the scandal involved sex, but even if it did, I trust that the shock of public exposure has helped Kristen get this urge out of her system. Her detractors want to treat her as if she was a 30 something year old having an affair (once a cheater, always a cheater), her situation was not the same.

What happened at LAX sure was toxic but that atmosphere of near riot hysteria would be hard for any couple to take again and again, but they were not the instigators of that mess. Would their life be easier apart? Maybe. Would they be happier without each other? I t would appear not. Besides they hardly need our opinion on what would and would not make them happy. @jean – Well said. R/K deliberately shut down in front of the paparazzi in order to minimize the number of tabloid covers that their pictures generate. Judging the status of their relationship by the expressions on their faces is silly. I would say that it is just slightly more significant that they are physically together! I have to imagine that the insanity of the possibility of having your photograph taken at any moment (in your backyard in your wet underwear) was a contributing factor to Kristen’s “acting out” four+ months ago.
