As a part of their peace accord, Gabriel has decided not to seek a permanent restraining order against Olivier Martinez on the same day he was reunited with daughter Nahla, according to a new report! Do you think that’s a good idea?
Gabriel Aubry received a horrible beating at the hand of ex Halle Berry‘s current fiancé Olivier Martinez on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22. He had received a temporary restraining order against Olivier, but RadarOnline reports that he has dropped plans to pursue anything permanent as a part of the peace settlement the three embittered parties reached on Nov. 29!
A source tells the website that Gabriel feels as though the agreement reached provides him the necessary protection. “Gabe has agreed to drop legal proceedings for the temporary restraining order against Olivier to be made permanent. Gabe suffered horrific injuries from the fight, but as part of the settlement he reached with Halle on Thursday he agreed to drop the bid for the permanent restraining order. Gabe feels that there enough layers of protection in the settlement agreement that will protect him and Nahla in the future.”
A restraining order hearing had been scheduled for Dec. 17, but sources say that “neither party will show in court on that day and the matter will simply be dismissed by the judge.”
The peace agreement seems to have worked, as Gabriel was also spotted picking up Nahla from school on Nov. 30 — reuniting father and daughter for the first time since the Thanksgiving brawl!
Are you happy that this drama may be coming to a peaceful resolution, HollyMoms?
